Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Game Inspection Period : June 10, 2008 13:00~17:30 Silkroad Standard Time (4 hour 30 minute duration)

Game Inspection Period : June 10, 2008 13:00~16:30 Silkroad Standard Time (3 hour 30 minute duration)

[Patch]
- New premium Item 'HP+800 Potion and HP+1300 Potion' which increase the maximum HP by 800 and 1300 for 30 minutes will be added.
- Massive bot punishment will be done.
- New payment solution 'Latin America ePin (Venezuela,Mexico,Peru,Colombia)' will be added.

i wonder if joymax will finally realise that yes high silk cost per item makes them alot of money but if the silk price per item was lower more ppl would buy it on a reguler bases hmm ... i dought it

1300hp.. Mm.. tbh I don't see a big deal about it. Now if it was 5%~25% hp increase or something like that then I would. Wouldn't be suprised in a newer prem ticket will have percent increase.

Useful if you're int at lower levels, but thats all I see and a xbow/wizard using the skills to reduce their hp.

Joymax is actually been doing something this last mont, bot banning every week, adding this new e-pin methds for latin american players which is a huge part of the game and new item mall things lol.. i must be dreaming.

ip bans still wont do anything. example dsl it changes ip now and then so thats really not effective at all and you can get an ip blocker to block the ip. even banning ip like person somewere above said it still wont work. also in wow they can ban credit cards and stuff like that but in sro its free to play so people can slip by.

I'm sorry, but I agree with Nitro. Banning of gold bots is almost useless, though it helps keeping the high level areas clear of them. For that, we are grateful.

They don't ban player bots (at least not the silk buying ones), which leaves the message that you can cheat all you want as long as you buy silk. That is THE main reason why so many people bot. If they'd start by banning a few high profile player bots (even if they'd just use a 3 shot approach: 1 week ban, 1 month ban, life long ban), the amount of player bots would drop down to almost 0. The fear would keep most players from botting, as it did right after the Euro update.

For gold bots it is simple: you can ban them, but they will return (unless you have online GMs that ban them immediately again). The only way to get rid of them permanently is by destroying the gold market, and you do that by banning gold BUYERS. You need people to be afraid of losing their character when they buy gold to stop them from doing it.
