I thought it went like this.

Quests/normal dungeons gets gear for heroic mode of 5 mans.
Heroic mode of 5 mans > Naxx 10 > NAxx 25 > Ulduar 10 > Ulduar 25
Or am I seeing this wrong?

10 man and 25 man are seperate progression paths, however 10 man Naxx helps for Nax 25 intially but is not necessary.

OS10 -> Naxx10 -> EoE10 -> Ulduar10 -> Ulduar10 HM
OS25 -> Naxx25 -> EoE25 -> Ulduar 25 -> Ulduar 25 HM

After a hellish month of rerolling Horde no thanks lol. I have a 9-6 job at the moment, so rerolling again won't be possible lol.

And yes, Necro is right, Naxx N and H are 2 different raid progression paths, and it is possible to start doing Ulduar N without any 3.0 H gears. And from there on, he can progress to hard mode Ulduar 10. Naxx 25 was a whole different path to take, and an easier one, all you need were the people to run it. There's this huge guild in my old realm with a really really low skill cap (learned that the hard way) but was able to have Naxx H on farm because they had like 100 people queuing for 1 raid, gg.

Anyways, contrary to the popular belief, skill > gear. I'm surprised about the numbers I can pull out being ungeared comparing to the slacking DPS that we had back in Ravenholdt. Raid geared dudes doing 2k DPS on H Thaddius, and not even 4k on H Patchwerk wtf.

You should've rolled Ally on Cael to start with then. =<

Well I didn't know Alliance would the Horde of US, dang Horde triumphs in everything on EU.

Depends on server type here.
PvE server = Alliance dominated.
PvP server = Horde dominated.

Well Saurfang is PvE... since I got tired getting ganked as hell when leveling.

When I cap(70 atm) and enjoy my char some, me and a buddy plan to go to a more populated server and roll Horde. I'll hit you all up here when we do. Maybe for some help?

All im saying from experiance is. When my guild goes to raid ulduar 10. There is me, 2 healer, 1 ret pala that are fully geared in 7.5/Ulduar gear.
We are the most effective in the group.
For example i can put out about 4.2k dps whilst the next dps comes in about 3.8 dps.
After us, everyone who isnt geared in t7.5 has under 3k dps, and to be honest thats pretty crappy.
It's even why we are dedicating evenings to 25 naxx so we can gear up the underdogs.

And i get your point that Naxx 10 is enough for Ulduar, but I can tell that if your only geared in t7 or equal, then its still possible, but your not gonna be going anywhere near as efficient as you could, and maybe its just me, but i have the mindset that unless we can do something efficiently and fast, then we are obviously missing something and need to go back to gear up.

I dunno, it's how i see it.

Lol. Thats the most retarded thing i've heard.
Think about it. For my main to be 7.5 + ulduar gear, i had to take the "challenge" of wiping and trying and trying till we perfected naxx. Now that we have perfected it and geared ourselves, i dont see why we cant try to be as efficient and good as we can in ulduar. It comes naturally from being in a dedicated raiding guild, its probably also why me and my guild are geared, whilst you are still running around in t7 as shown in your armory.

Edit: And just a bit more on topic. Was screwing around in naxx 25 today with my alt. And got my badass shoulders. My favorite shoulders out of anything (except T8 warlock)



And my BADASS new drake, so cool, lovin it, wish it was on my lock tho, but hey i aint complaining.

This just in: different raiding guilds prefer to play in different settings. We prefer 10 mans, because we prefer the community spirit. That > gear, and if you're really that concerned about who has the better number son their pixels, you've got issues.

And, no, it was completely to the point, unless you have a different meaning of "efficient and fast" which is different from "lol faceroll" which majority of the playerbase has.
