well in trial accounts you can reach a max of lv20 which once you get used to the quests/the game it doesnt take long at all to pass lvl 20. Meaning you wont see all that much activity besides in the main cities. The early quest areas are pretty empty usually.
On Trollbane there was people around though when I'd be in the low levels. but like a handful. But trollbane was PvE, not PvP

I presume most high lvls are somewhere in Northrend cities.

When you're in the window to choose a realm, pick the ones that are labeled Recommended. Most players just usually pick this and go with it. And if you're one of these many players, chances are you'll have a butt-load of newbies starting out.

But then again it doesn't matter once you cap since you can transfer anywhere.

well I'm not sure how things work yet, transfering characters isn't free right? if it isn't then I can't do it really.. umm I guess old servers would be better, being alone in my first levels is fine, I just want some activities and stuff later on...

If you're in a highly populated server, transferring is free but you can't choose where to go. But yeah, you can always transfer, with a fee.

Tell me your IGN on Trollbane and your faction, so we can play together. I've been looking for a server too.

Also make sure to take into account that on crowded severs it will take time to loggon but is is nice they have a queue for that unlike SRO. If ya join a hardcore raiding guild they will require certain days and amount of time to raid.
