Took about a month and a half of on and off grinding and questing. I love my ret pally. Time for some Halls of Stone to get me a decent starting mace.

HoS has a mace?

Check the auction house or have a smith craft you a Titansteel Destroyer their often dirt cheap nowadays especially since lots are converting to smithing for the extra 2 sockets

Check the auction house for Wristbands of the Sentinel Huntress and if you don't see any, you can hollar at trade chat. They cost 60 valor badges and folks like me sell them all the time for about 2K or so.

You can get this hat crafted - Spiked Titansteel Helm and its often dirt cheap. Check the AH for that too or ask a smith.

Some boots Iron-Spring Jumpers if you need them, BoE on the auction house all the time.

HoS has Hammer of Grief

I'm not exactly rich atm, and I'm working on profs too, that's why I can't get the Titansteel Destroyer. That helm though, I'm sure I can afford.

All depends on your server. When 80 cap hit, so many people were leveling their smithing you could get a destroyer for 600g. Nowadays, everyones going JC/BS for the extra two sockets and the prismatic gems, so they are leveling smithing again, thus driving the prices into the dirt.

If you need money, start saving all your BoE greens from instances, mob drops. Have a friend disenchant them. Shards are selling for 15-20g a peice. Its a lot of money. Pick up your grays. Sell your cloth on the auction house.

I'd imagine your broke with flight training and cold weather flying costs.

Exactly why I'm waiting to learn the riding skills that start at 60 and above.

Axe is heroic only

Pffft do work on your gearing at least some, before going to a heroic. Or you'll be the bane of all us elitists coming to a heroic and dealing less damage than the damn tank, and we'll be in our guild chat talking about how badly you suck and linking the recount of how your losing to the tank. Especially since your a LOLRET :(

Friend dont let friends PuG heroics in green gear :D

Going on a holiday for 3 weeks starting Saturday also helps.

But you HAVE to get Epic mount and normal flying mount. It's mandatory!

Well you can get the basic flyer for 1K. If its not cheaper by now. Then cold weather for 1K. You don't have to buy the 5K training if you don't want to.

Ran my first heroics last night.

The Nexus was so much fun. We had fail tank and wiped like 3 times, then got a great tank and was smooth sailing, even through Keristraza. He dropped this, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37171 but I passed on it for a guildy even though it would have been my first epic and I needed it.

We then went to The Oculus and god damn that was hard. That last dragon boss is so intense. We eneded up calling it a night after a few wipes. Going to finish it today. I love being 80.

LOL you passed on your first epic, which you needed and is an awesome item for you.... whats that all about? LOL

Later, you won't have a belt. And you'll be bummin. And you'll be running heroic nexus every day watching the bracers/gauntlets or the mace drop. 20 some runs you'll see the belt again. Then lose to some DK. who just turned 80 and can't play his toon.

LOL

But hey, I'll be here to comfort you, and of course tell you I told you so.

:D

ANd this is why I liked gearing as a tank. My drops, no competition. >=]

(except in raids... but my OT is a DK, so not competition on 1Hs and shields)
