I'm so indecisive so thought I'd ask people here their opinion on something. I'm trying to decide which of my characters to level with my friends. I have a Warrior (42) I'm currently playing with them, and a Paladin I had for a while who is 55. Tryin to decide what might be more fun to keep and cap with them.

I'm thinking PvP like BGs and Arena more then Instances or Raids so much. Trying to compare the two, with their ability to handle more then one person attacking me and how well I can survive it. Currently my Paladin is Prot and my Warrior is leveling as Fury.

Also curious if Prot Warriors can really do much in PvP. Ive heard they werent useful in PvP back around 70 cap but curious now? The AoE stun and using Charge/Intercept in Battle Talents look like they'd be fun.

Just thought I'd post this up, cause Im having a hell of a time deciding. Leaning toward Pally atm though.

I'm going to mock you if you make a paladin. People will mock you as well.

I'd go for the warrior.

Care to elaborate on why you'd pick Warrior? Im pretty new to the game and havent pvped enough to weigh the pros and cons of each, which is why I posted.

And elaborate on why you'd mock a paladin I suppose if there is reasoning

Paladins used to be incredibly OP. (overpowered). Which made it the flavour of the month class, and made people mock them. Which still happens.

Warriors imo are the true tanks, and can be massive damage dealers. Fun to play. I'm leveling one right now.

Palas have never appealed to me. They've always looked like a shitty class and I hate retribution because it's definitely the most easy damage spec to play. There's just something not right about paladins. I don't like the good guy feeling I get when I see a Paladin. We're slaughtering noobs, I don't want to look like a gay knight in shining armor.

Well you can't take this advice from the people who don't have an end-game Paladin/Warrior.

I myself rolled a Paladin, yes they are easy to play, but nonetheless fun. I'm currently Prot/Holy. No they are not a faceroll class, I'm sure if I give you mine and you fight a lv 70, you will get owned assuming you've never used a paladin before. Either way paladins are more versatile than a warrior at least. There is mana and there is rage, that should help you decide too. If you go holy, no one will compete for gear with you. Prot pallies are OP at the moment. Thats my view on paladins, but then again i've never rolled a warrior, well I did to lv 7 and got bored.

My warrior just dinged 70. With my experience during endgame on a mage, and the experience till 70, i can paint a pretty clear picture.

Painting a pretty clear picture requires more than half a dozen sentences on the subject. He's asking for details, what are the pro's and con's. Something a little more in-depth than LOLFACEROLL OP OMGZ.

Well sure, yet i painted the picture that made me start a warrior.

I could go into spells and talents, but that'd be too much work.

hmm i hate everyone else whos a paladin... but i LOVE being one myself. i took a break after wrath came out, came back 3 months later and everyone was a god dam paladin, almost made me want to quit it was so hard to find groups. "oh your a ret pally? id rather a rogue or hell a dps warrior for that matter... get in line with the other shit pallies who dont know how to play their class."

but i have fun playing my pally. hes ret/prot but my ret set is just a little bit better then my prot set. my wowheroes says i can tank up to 25 maly but tbh i think thats a little off... being retribution is very easy to dps, which might be why everyone hates us.

as far as prot pvp, ive seen some people who spec prot but get the holy set and are pvp healers, un killable and the talent in deep prot give you spell power equal to 30% of your stamina... which the holy pvp set has a lot of. so you end up with ALOT of spell power. but they are nerfing that next patch so idk how good prot pallies will be in pvp after that. for some reason prot pally dps seems to be really high. ive been in heroics where the pally tank is doing 2.5k dps which might mean they would be able to actually kill someone in pvp but idk.
