Nah, moving to a higher pop Oceanic one. Screw going to a US one, you know how hard that would make it for me to get groups? ~_~

So earlier today I ran 10m Naxx with a new guild. We did the construct quarter as they had already cleared arach and plauge quarter.

Also this was my first time on construct quarter, so when we came down to patchwerk i was very excited to see what my dps would be, well lets just say that I had a huge :D after we were done with him...or should I say after I was done with him... So anyways here is a screeny

It's funny how every time they 'nerf' something it ends up doing more dps (affliction locks)

Yeah, but its so easy now...I miss the old rotation. It really gets boring just keeping up with 3 dots. haunt>unst afflic>CoA....lol

Next time link the DPS instead of DD, it's a more accurate way of showing um.. DPS (duh). With that damage done, considering if you took 5 minutes to kill him, you'll do ~2500 DPS, which is quite decent. Think I've pulled a ~2300 before as the MT (prot war).

It does show DPS. First number in the brackets. Also DD is a more accurate measurement of contribution to a group. DPS is just potential, DD is implementation.

2.4k DPS from class y means nothing if they die within 5 seconds of the fight.

Ohhhh you're right. Hmm, I haven't given much thought about it since we always used DPS as a measurement, especially midway through a fight or for puging. That makes sense though, but doesn't Recount continue to record damage until the raid goes out of combat so if a person is dead their DPS will decline?

Nice, 3.4k dayum.

Recount only considers DPS while you actually deal damage, but in the overview as shown in the image, you can see who did how much damage throughout the fight (so if you die early, you will end up low on the ladder), but also the DPS during the time each person did damage (so you can see the potential of someone who died early beyond his/her fault).

My own affliction lock currently does about 4.2k DPS on Patch10 and 5.5k DPS on Patch25, but I still have a few T7 upgrades ahead of me. I might skip those now that we're trying our luck in Ulduar. :)

Yeah recount does keep stacking the damage as you continue but that damage in the screeny is just patchwerk data.

Straight out the Gate you get a nice quest chain, most people just head straight to Outlands when they hit 58, cuz 58-60 is pointless in Azeroth now.

So, yeah you will have a nice quest hub to go onto at 58, and you will be racking in the levels in no time

tbh that quest line near enough gets you to 60 if you accept spin off quests from it

Hilarious you are in Attica. I was in that guild before Lich King, wiping on Archimonde and Kalecgos was a ton of fun with that guild. Unfortunately can't say there was a single player in that guild I considered to be good. Remembered that the guild leader was a clicker and upon learning that, left the guild.

Hmm doesn't matter. I see guild's that failed to kill Kael'thas before 3.0 patch are now 10/14 Ulduar already. Says a lot about the game right now. And can say I don't miss the game right now since quitting in December.

Curious why did you join them anyways?

Unlike Naxxramas, there's more to just clearing an instance now. Blizzard have tuned Ulduar to have easy and hard modes to cater to both casual and hardcore players. With this, casual players can still raid for content while the more hardcore players can enjoy themselves in hard mode for better loot.

So, should you are bored of the easy mode, the hard mode encounter will keep you refreshed considering the fact that the encounter will be different and of course harder, and logically then you can help yourself to better gears. Also, there's an extra boss who only gets unlocked should the raid have killed all the other bosses before him in hard mode within a reset and that bugger despawns after 1 hour in combat.

Probably a different attica, they cleared Sunwell. as did i, I was in Ascendance top 300 US/600 world, but i took the free xfer to Garrosh with alot of friends. but Ulduar is BT level difficulty and were tearing through it, main reason i joined is they needed hunters and i had friends in here, and the GM was a nice guy along with the officers. I'm enjoying myself. and the guilds that are 10/14 in ulduar could have changed leadership and players within in the last 6 months.

it really does kill me when ppl say Ulduar is easy cakes cause they've cleared the whole thing on normal...clearing it on normal is what people like me do, average players with average guilds who don't have gear or the group to clear the hard modes....if you've cleared it on hardmode without PTR practice then you can say its easy cakes otherwise theres just no point in bashing the place...
