Thanks ^^ It's just kinda annoying being a noobie since I have to fret my way around Photoshop since I'm not sure how to do some of the effects that I want to add, half the time. Although I don't have to google as much and I don't need to have like 5 tutorial tabs open while doing my work anymore. Hopefully I'll get a bit more used to it soon. But yeah, the tutorials posted by the members in AC have been really helpful

12 and 13 are definitely a great step forward, not sure about 15. It's color contrast is way too high and no flow defined which really cripples the whole sig. Continue doing sigs with quality of 12 and 13 and you will progress quickly as they are on the right track. Experiment more and blah blah blah, you get the idea

in my PS days I never used the tuts(didn't understand crap of them) and my sigs were crappy too.. (I mde a thread like this once too, still somewhere dying. I admit it, I sucked. Now I just take a screeny from a mv on youtube or google something, edit it in paint, put my name on it and I'm done. They're better then my PS sigs. just wanted to tell.
And your work, WOW. You show balls with them, and also that youre not afraid of using a render twice, which sometimes also goes unnoticed. which is fuckin' good for a PS newbie. I like your style though 14 creeps me out a lil', and I admire your balls. *I voted for you with the H'ween sig wars*

@Melez: Yeah, I was playing around with one of the tutorials posted from TheKnight's thread and #15 was just a reflection of it. I picked a random render from my folder and simply stuck with the tutorial as a first try without considering the other factors - I'll try to mix them up a bit soon when I have the time. @Icealya: Lol yeah, I had some difficulty with following the tutorials since I had to google every other term that comes up. But I got used to it after a while - sort of. I still find myself fretting around in PS though, and will probably do for a long time. As for the reused renders - I'm just never satisfied with the sigs after looking at them for a few times, so I end up doing a remake. Also, I wanted to try things that I didn't know the first time around and see if applying them would make a difference. But I think you can make two completely distinct sigs even with a similar render. Lol I was thinking of proposing a sig war where everyone has to use the same Mr. Potato render. Also, thanks for the vote - I thought that sig was a bit too soft for a Halloween theme but I kinda liked it anyway. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll play around a bit more and will strongly consider any suggestions/criticisms thrown at me. ^^ Edit: #16 IS OUT!Chrono Trigger's "Epoch" traveling through time

These guys are f ucking amazing. http://needmoreartz.deviantart.com/art/ ... -144317225Those are great indeed, and way, way over me too lol : d Your 23rd is nice, nice to experiment with colors and effects, but those crosses maybe don't look like they're in their place tbh. And what I think would make this sig much better is some good lighting (no, no lens flares or 100pxl white soft brush) Also when still doing experiments, try a bit of liquefy, it can give some nice outcomes for effects (just don't overuse it so the liquefy doesn't get too obvious)

I did what I can to take away too much focus on the crosses but meh..idk. It seems a bit too spread out...either that or maybe I'm just too close to the sig. Comments? #22: #23: Sig #20 now comes in "skimmed"! Lighter, strawberry flavored, and fortified with vitamin D! I present to you #23! ^^ Also thanks for the tips Melez. Errr..liquify = high def smudge? O.o And uh...I think I need to review on my basics. Any links to some good color guide/lesson? How to make cool/warm/dark/light effects by mixing the right colors and which combination to avoid?
