It might be a little late for the competition but I'm determined to finish this in colour even if it kills me to find the time!

Lol, thanks. Who says leg warmers aren't manly! Noooooo, the bamboo, yuk! At the very least get a intuos even if you only use it for hobby sake. I understand your feelings on the matter before I familiarized myself with Ps I was very traditional and acted, to my disgrace, incredibly snobby when someone mentioned digital media--but you grow and you learn, right? I also understand your regret. It's always hard to please yourself; what looked great to you last night looks like utter shit this morning so you delete it, throw it away or if you're me, and it's one of my paintings, throw it on the ground and spill paint thinner all over it while yelping tribal chants. xD

Gets the job done but it has a WIIIIIIIIIDDDEEEEEEE learning curve. It was kind of a bitch getting used to a pen+tablet compared to pen/paper. Although I actually work best on skin... Kinda' weird and not sure if I shared this with people from SRF before but I used to do pen ink "tattoos" for classmates in HS and some friends. I did a full back one for my girlfriend before as well. Someone offered me an internship (unpaid assistant job) at a tattoo shop in LIC but had to decline (NOT SURE WHY BUT THAT WAS RETARDED OF ME). I might get into the habit again. Started doing my signature hibiscus (without the stem) again lately. =) Damn Hostage now I'm curious about the stuff you create with the Cintiq. PS. I prefer burning them or using them to wipe the "mayo" off when I run out of tissue paper. I'm a bit nasty when I make my sandwiches. Wait...that doesn't sound right lol.

Dude... Idk how I've missed this Topic, but that is a Great Avatar. Compared to what SRO releases especially.
I voted for it.
And I noticed there is another Steampunk avatar as a Finalist. Everything else looks kind of generic and yours is Original to SRO. I like that.

I kinda miss the game too up until that part where I remember what 95% of the map looks like covered in bot accounts and high level people that disabled the "invisible" function in their computers.

I've been going through an mmo withdrawal period myself. I would like to renew my WoW account but I don't know if I'm willing to put that much effort with the Cata release...silkroad would be nice with the right people, right server, but then again what an incredible waste of valuable time. I'll just go play AC:Brotherhood.

Yeah sometimes miss it too, had a fallback three times now but I quit immediately again because it ran too slow on my laptop, or I just couldn't get in.

It slipped my mind but I checked the silkroad site and they had a small disclaimer in red stating it would take them till the 14th to announce the winners for all their contest/events. So there's still a few days left I guess.

I think it is kinda sad that they give out such a pile of shit as prices for work where the people who participated put a huge amount of effort into ,and equivalent professional work would cost quite a nice amount of money. I remember a "create your starship"-contest hosted from the EVE-online publisher where the winner would win prices of around 2000€. (2nd and 3rd would be a bit less ofcourse.) What are joymax prices worth? 10~20 bucks for all of them together?

Oh and thanks! @Dante- I'm sure Wemade(Joymax) took the nature of their "community" into consideration and accounted for the high likely hood of plagiarism. Hence the prizes. I will admit to secretly wanting "Dark Knight" to win but only if Wemade didn't notice the plagiarism. The ass pounding that Blizzard would have delivered would have brought the most girliest giggle out of me. xD
