Oh hai there AC. I'm in need of some your mad skills. I need a sro world map that only has jangan and dw in it. *for the in-game map, ofc* You will need 2 files to make/test your changes: http://www.mediafire.com/?nt6bf1f6ispxt79http://s2k.do.am/ddjviewer/sroddjviewer0.8.rarThe first file allows you to edit your media.pk2 and extract/compile the file. The second file allows you to view ddj files and convert them into image files that you can edit and vise versa. The extractor is very easy to use. You simply select media.pk2, then you go: Interface -> Worldmap -> Map The map_world_xxxxx.ddj files are the ones you need to edit. You will need to extract the ones for the correct area, match them together, edit the map, then cut them back up and recompile the media.pk2 The editor is also easy to use: Select your media.pk2, then "select folder" option under automatic multiple upload then select the media folder thats in the same directory as the pk2 tools. I need something like this, (minus the shitty paint job of) only with the DW side actually shown and the others blocked out, except Jangan ofc. After you make all the proper changes, zip and upload the changed map files to multiupload.com and post a link to it here. So, would any of you mind helping me out with this? I'd be eternally grateful as I have little to no Photoshopping experience of any kind. Thanks in advance. P.S. I'm willing to pay for this to be done. Nothing too wild and crazy, but like $10-$15 bucks.

You want to update your Salvation map? I'll see if i have time to do it today. Ty for the DDJ Viewer btw, i wish i had had it earlier, would have saved a lot of time if i didn't have to convert DDJ to DDS and open it with Photoshop DDS plugin.

Damn, I don't know how to compile all the images to make one big image besides doing it manually which will take a lot of time. I have done the image division thing with an old map though. So I think I'll have to get the big map somewhere so i don't have to compile. Should be able to complete it tomorrow i guess.

Ha, yeah, I wasn't sure how long it'd take, hence the monetary reward, however small it may be. xD
And awesome, looking forward to it. =]

I made something really quick. I kept the natural stuff like rivers and canyons and things. I'll probably edit it a bit more. If it looks fine i'll slice it up.

Only problem I see with that is the cities are still going to show up, like in my picture. Or you could make the cities picture a small dot and go from there.
Or edit the files so the other cities don't show up at all. Tell you what tasdik, because i'm bored and require something to do I well be willing to mood the pk2 files in any way you want. Just pm me here.

All the areas that are marked on the map will also show up. Unless they have removed them from the pk2 in Salvation.

if you chop up your map and rename everything so it matches what's in the pk2 I can edit that and take a look at removing the cities and names of everything. EDIT: you guys should also do something like this

Haha. I talked to Fly, he'd love it if you could come up with a start up picture. Only thing we need to do is make sure to leave a copyright to joymax on there, for legal reasons. But other then that, you're more then welcome to do whatever the hell you want with it.

Here is something I just made.
I could probably work on the border and the text some more.

**** you for never getting in vent with me.
But, erh, I'm not entirely sure how else you could talk to all of us. They don't use MSN. Only other way would be to like make a subsection on the forum for this, but that sounds like a lot of effort. Maybe just PM us all on the forums? Make it a group message?

Btw, i was wondering, can you make a startup pic with bigger dimensions than the original? I think so because the logo ingame is also limited in size. I didn't want to waste time and made one original sized one for our server. Anyways, now I completed the map(tweaked it a bit). Now I just have to rename every single slice in PS. There are a lot of them.
