Or at least, that's what it was supposed to be >_>.
Sadly when I want to draw I'm busy, and when I'm not busy I don't want to...
So it's more like face of the fortmonth

Anyway...
I've taken it upon myself to practice drawing humans. I can kinda do bodies already, not great by any means, but compared to the way I draw faces it's a pretty big difference :/. So I decided I should start off practice by doing a bunch of potraits.

without further ado:

My apologies to day9 :<

My source here was a very small sized picture, so it was pretty hard to draw.
Surprisingly this turned out better than I expected, even though it's still a piece of fail.
Had a ton of trouble doing the mouth. After it turned into fishlips over 9000 times I looked up a quick tut on google and managed something that didn't look too bad. There's some obvious errors in here like the shape of the face, the nose and the cross-eyedness...

anyone got tips?

I don't draw myself (because I can't), but I would definitely suggest using a much bigger picture especially if you're a beginner at portraits.

I think you did the eyes and mouth pretty well, but the nose it too fat and not shaped right. A bigger portrait would help though I think, easier to see the curves and nuances and shadows of the face. The face itself is a little fat too, the original guy has a thin, long face.

You can for sure draw though, kudos. Wish I could!

There was no bigger source :< And I wanted to start with that picture for sure.
I'll probably finish with the this picture as well. A comparison from beginning to end.
