this sucks, I was really trying to avoid buying a ps3. But, I really want to play this and it's only good (imo) on playstation. controller pwns the xbox controller.

I guess I can justify it by saying to myself that I'll also get the next madden and ncaa football (and it has blu-ray)...god, I'm talking myself into it!

You do know that both the ps3 and the x360 controller has 2 sticks, a d-pad, 4 shoulder buttons and 4 buttons (a/b/x/y for 360 and square/triangle/circle/X for ps3)...

IMO the feeling of the X360 controller is way better than the ps3, but it's all about taste (as always)

the Ps3 controller feels way too light, and vulnerable.

And it's way to expensive, somehow you gotta pay more if you want it to vibrate.

uhh... Price of Sixaxis controller with no rumble at walmart = $49.88. Price of Dualshock Sixaxis controller at walmart = $49.88. Making a person realize he doesn't know what he's talking about = priceless.

Edit: Walmart.com has lowered the price for the non-dualshock controller to 39.88. I'm not basing it off the website price though, I'm basing it off the instore price where I work.

So is there anything in this one which makes it stand out from the other GTAs?

and a billion other things you can do

Oh, and yes, I know that the basic setups are similar, but I just like the feel of the ps3 controller better...to meet it feels better.

besides the multi, seems a lot of it has been drastically been improved, both gameplay and graphics. A game that exceeds the others the way game play has been revamped + a multiplayer that would be worth 60 on its own? doesnt sound too bad to me :)

Like I said, it's all a matter of taste...I like the X360 controller more because he's less edgy (sp?)

Thought it was just my internet. ._. Apparently it worked first day, didn't second day. I know it worked some of today, but right now it isn't working, at least not for me.

IGN said something like 1/4 of PS3's GTA 4 players can't get the multiplayer working. Obviously it's an issue that's being worked on though.

No way would i buy the PS3 just for the GTAIV. Even if it is all that.

I will gladly wait for the PC version, but i guess i wouldn't mind getting the 360 for it, but the PS3 is no where near worth it just for the game, even with the other games available for the PS3

wow epic gg.

On a side note, Multiplayer is fun, the main game is fun, everything is fun except when noobs on your team can't drive. I don't understand why people are having trouble with it, maybe it wouldnt be as bad if all the cars handled the same way..but it would take away from the realism of the game.

just finished the main storyline!

might go do it again and see what happens if i do things differently. there are alot of missions where you have to decide between 2 things.

Granted I just played for 2hrs, but nothing seems really different. The new additions are nice, but it doesn't feel OMG revolutionary.
