The Imperator is on sale for 50$ so I'll be grabbing that one. As for my headset, the SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB looks good for its price (60$). I could easily settle for the 30$ Logitech one but for another 30$ the SteelSeries one will also work on my 360 if I ever get serious about getting LIVE (possibly for Halo 4).
I know desktops are more powerful but I can't stand them anymore with all the clutter of wires and dust they collect. I'm loving laptop gaming now....Less mess and if I need a big screen I close the lid on my laptop and hook up a monitor... I haven't noticed any difference in performance between a good gaming laptop and a good gaming desktop....even though there is under the hood...

Cable manage it like a boss (see previous posts) and there will be no more cable mess. Besides, if your using a laptop you'll need a charging cable, DVI/HDMI cable, monitor power cable, keyboard and mouse cables, headset cables and possibly cables for your printer. Before you know it your pretty much using the exact same amount of cables that a desktop would use. Not to mention that you can't build a laptop yourself, to get the same specification of a self-built desktop you'll be paying a lot more money and if some of the internal hardware breaks (like the mobo) it's a lot more difficult to repair. Legit don't see why people buy gaming laptops.

You can easily get a decent wireless mouse and keyboard. The only case where it gets messy is if you're hooking up to a T.V. and even then it still looks cleaner than a desktop. And sure you can build a Laptop yourself if you have the knowledge, companies like CyberPower do it.
The argument that you can't have a powerful laptop is almost non-existent nowadays. The only reason to buy a gaming laptop is for mobility. I don't mind the extra fee for the ability to bring it around with me. Legit don't see why people can't grasp the notion that a Laptop will game just as much as your desktop but for extra.
P.S: Don't want to start a laptop vs desktop argument in this thread. I'm out

A charging cable and headset cable is all I need. I got a wireless mouse, the printer can be used with WiFi. 17,3" stock monitor is enough for me and why would anyone even buy another keyboard for a laptop?

Why do you keep them... If you can't use it? xD
I don't wanna just throw them out. It's weird honestly, I'll go to use one and it will be fine. I keep them on hand because they smell good and work really well.

I usually don't go for low-end SLI solutions, but the card (evga gtx 460 2win) was going for $150 and it's on par with the gtx 580. I was looking for a nvidia card for the physx (Borderlands 2) and yah
Although my friends have complained about hearing my breathing while I'm on Skype with them, it's fine on everything else. I have a Microsoft Lifecam HD-5000 also; which comes with a vastly superior mic; so I just use that instead. I have it at least 3ft away from me and it can still deliver clear and crisp voice quality.
What's with all the super messy cable management guys? Shame brothers, shame.
The black PC to the side is my managers PC that I'm fixing atm, so ignore it. My desk is a bit messy atm as it's full of art supplies and my current project. Usually it's spotless/nearly empty.
