I am looking for a new laptop....Giving my old ones away....Here are the things I am concerned about:
1) It has to be good for gaming (Doesn't have to be a gaming laptop) 2) Under an inch thick...so thin and light 3) No CD ROM Drive, No HDD Drive. Instead I need a SSD 128GB or higher (Online/external storage to the rescue ) 4) At least 6G RAM (8 would be better) 5) At least 1G of dedicated video memory (2 would be better) 6) 15 or 17 inch screen, 1080 res LED (15 inch preferred) 7) Under $1800.00
No I don't really care for desktops as I prefer to play and work on laptops....Will be travelling back and forth between school, libraries and friend's house anyways.. I will also be using AutoCad on this laptop (which is resource hungry)..... The Razor blade laptop looks nice and does meet what I'm looking for but it is too costly and has features I don't care for like that LCD macro screen (which IMO is a complete waste)...
Your help would be much appreciated...Thanks in advance
The new series of Asus do look a bit slicker but still too bulky. Have you tried websites like CyberPower where you can build your own laptop? They might give you the option to pick a slim case.
Anyways, I was just looking for a laptop that could run most games, nothing too fancy since I already have a desktop for that, but still able to handle heavy gaming without overheating, this one seems like a decent alternative:
Asus K55VM-SX083V
What do you think? I'm not that much of a computer wiz so looking at the specs I don't know what to look for really except for RAM and processor.
