The World Cup is only every four years.

Yet the soccer talk is year round, like every other brilliant sport "people" cant seem to get enough of.

I wake up every day at 6 am to do p90x, I am glad others are spending similar 12+ hours on tv mastering. Not like my approach is superior in any way.

You do what you do and stop whining about what others are doing/discussing princess...Time well spent is determined by the individual spending it... You don't have to acknowledge what's being discussed here...Just focus on your 12+ hours of the day...

Lol, loving how my disapproval of watching other people do shit instead of going out and improving yourself is cause for you to vomit and for others to think I am trolling or being disruptive.

I guess the concept of spending less time being passive and more time being pro active about all aspects of your life is really that crazy.

Over the past couple of months I've stopped gaming except for very rare occasions when I had the extra time to spare 2 hours or so on it. Plus I entirely cleaned up my diet and all around been trying to do more and more and more each day ( working out 6 times a week and just enjoying it ). My new hobby is studying and I simply feel accomplished having a 4.0 gpa as a science major.

I never felt better in my life so no shit I want to claim it's a preferable way to go about doing things; but sure go ahead and take pride in your love for praising others instead of being the hero of your story.

Spoiler!

Netherlands vs. Mexico today. Not sure what to say, at this point all the matches are hard to pick sides on.

Whats crazy and retarded is you projecting your lifestyle changes on everyone else in this thread... Before you went on your "Jenny Craig's/Weight-watchers for women" binge your hobby was probably being passive and less pro-active (gaming) and for some reason it was OK back then.

Now that you've moved on, anyone else not doing the same or similar are wasting their time "TV mastering" as if you know our lifestyles...You're now quite the proactive parrot regurgitating and advocating overused "lifestyle changing" notions while casting a downward eye on the rest of us...and this puts you in the lame light...

As I stated above... And also good for you...but guess what...over the past few months I couldn't care less for what you've done....Take a lesson from that...

And here we go with the parrot behaviour for the "lifestyle change committee"....My enjoyment and entertainment doesn't have to be the same as yours....Our stories doesn't have to be the same....narcissism much?...

What a crazy come back by the Neds...I'm sure Mexican fans will forever hate the referee for awarding Holland that late penalty...Seems a bit unfair on the replay but refs don't have the luxury of replays...He was brave to make such a call...

Yet they won't mention the 1st half penalty they didn't give to robben.. Wich was way more of a penalty and it was not given.

Over the past couple months I've smoked a shit ton of weed, watched a lot of funny videos, and drank a lot of good beer.

I'm pretty much the biggest hero I know

:/ I didn't get to watch the game but it seemed like Mexico held their own against Netherlands. I did hear that the penalty was bullshit but I have not seen it myself.

Cost Rica wins with only 10 players? OP

It sort of was, but it is somehow part of the football/soccer nowadays, thing is ppl complains about the referee giving that one penalty but no pro-mexican ever mentions the penalty not given to Robben before that one that was cleary a penalty fault. So, if they gonna cry about one they must stfu with the other..

Imo I'd love to see Swiss and Belgium go further, but Argentina is such a strong opponent.

America got waffle ironed...outplayed when you think of the amount times Belgium couldav scored... 27 shots on goal for Belgium vs 9 shots for America... If all the goal scoring opportunities were capitalized on by both teams the score line would have read 9-3 for Belgium...Still Belgium was quite lucky they didn't conceive a wide open late scoring chance that America should have put away... America capable but not fully there yet...

Howard is an American hero today.

Really hope Germany and Belgium get knocked out next. The football they play with the talent they have is blasphemous. Same for Argentina and Brazil but I like Messi and Neymar. So unfortunate that underdogs that played as a team got knocked out by established nations that play with individual talent - Chile, Mexico, Algeria, and now USA :(

That Bradley free kick play was so American Football-esque, makes you wonder if Am. Football tactics and plays could work out in soccer...

Germany and Belgium both play solid team football in my opinion...Especially Belgium... I don't really see a one man star on either of those teams...Brazil and Argentina however do have main star players that get a lot of hype... The best type of football for me is played by Spain...Total football...one touch passes back and forth in the midfield and between the defense...Such a beauty to watch...
