It's been so long since I've last posted. And it's been so long since I last visited this page. However, I encountered a rindle from a facebook group I'm a part of and I tried to decode it but to no avail. Then I remember, SRF has a lot of smart people. Maybe someone can decode it.

Alright, we've made some progress:

Gaige figured out the numbers represent key-presses on an old GSM-type phone.
Image
This gives us the following:
Code:
A H S . K X / P M R R D M

there's a clue in the text stating: "Take one step forward and you will hear the lines that lead to a new door"

This means we need to shift the letter by one.
This gave us the following url:
Code:
bit.ly/qnssen

but that didn't work out. We noticed the numbers had different sizes and figured it indicated capitals. so we tried with:
Code:
bit.ly/QNssEn

Which ultimately lead us here:

Thank you! I was able to decode the old mobile phone keypads and got the A H S . K X / P M R R D M but wasn't able to move forward from here.

I was not wrong. SRF does have a lot of smart guys. What I don't get is the 1:31 in the side.

Indeed, that is still a mystery to us as well. The [1] is also unclear.
And at least for now we haven't made any progress in the new section either...

I suspect the 1:31 might be a bible verse?
Genesis 1:31 New International Version (NIV) wrote:
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
But I could be totally off on that...

edit:
I just realized, but it's likely the way the image is split up also plays a role (again maybe something to do with the 1:31 thing?

I've googled it as well and got the bible verse. Here's an update:

"The puzzle is more than just logic. It will reveal something about trading and about yourself once you solve it." This is from the owner of the puzzle. Trading is for stock trading. I got this from a stock trading group.

If the bible verse is really the answer. Does that mean rest on weekends? However, the Charles Dickens page doesn't make sense.

I don't know man... I'm totally lost and the other guys don't seem to have a whole lot of intent in participating D:
I can't make heads or tails of the Charles Dickens page, so I suspect we've failed the first clue as well.

the bit.ly part I'm pretty certain about, that's way too much of a coincidence to not be right.
But I think we've got the wrong URL somehow.

the [1] in there is in a small font like some of smaller numbers, I think that might mean we need to substitute it with something.

Since the 1:31 is a bible verse about the 6th day of creation I tried filling in the number 6, but the url I got then (bit.ly/nQNssEn) was non-existent. Eventually I tried every letter of the alphabet (non-capital), but none of the pages existed :(

I am totally clueless :?

Hi guys. I think I owe everyone who helped me here the answer.

The answer to this puzzle is bit.ly/[2]QNssEn. So we were right that the numbers were letter equivalent using the old phone keys. Then "step forward" means we will use the next letter. The [1] that got everyone stuck meant that the number "1" should be kept as is and not convert it to a letter. Then again, one step forward.

Thanks to everyone who helped. Cheers!

arrghhh that seems so obvious now D:
But I had no idea bit.ly links supported brackets. When I started guessing URLs I recall bit.ly itself always telling me most links are only up to up to 6-7 alphanumeric characters... With the brackets it goes all the way up to 9 and they aren't alphanumeric :banghead:

So what about the 1:31 bit? Does it just refer to a time in the video?

Yes, the exact time in the video and that's the answer.
