I stumbled on some YouTube videos of lvl 120s dueling. It seems the game has advanced further now with 13d gear and weapons.. I must say even after seeing those videos I have no interest of returning. After 5 years of this game I guess there has to be an end....and I think its my time....
I've completely lost all interest now...Feels weird but yet good...So many memories of level 70 caps (and 80)...My char is level 102 I believe...I never made any of the caps due to the grind and lack of parties but at least I had some fun at the lower caps.
I've been playing Tera online and I must say it's a huge step up from SRO. In terms of everything..gameplay/graphics/content/no grind plus you can reach the level cap in about 6 days (3 if your hardcore and have a party). Not saying anyone here should drop SRO for Tera or any other game (That's your choice). I was curious to see whats happening with ole SRO these days.... I sure don't miss the hard grind and bot infestation....

This thread makes no sense. You claim to have lost interest, and yet you make a post regarding the thing which you supposedly "lost" interest in? Yeah, no. Just no.

You add lulz to the end of every post. Your opinion is invalid.

I shoulav been more clear. I've lost all interest in ever playing SRO again. But haven't lost interest to know whats been going on with a game I used to love very much. Just plain curiosity.

Funny how you jumped to a game with no end game content, to another game who also got no end game content.

I got a feeling that it will be a waste of time replying to you but anyway, I never cared about +110 updates, so i don't really know the answer to his question. Now will anyone PLEASE stay ontopic.

Well its worth playing seeing that it's over all content leading up to the cap is far better than SRO. Again just my impression/opinion...Don't get me wrong I still like SRO ...its just that time now where it has come to an end for me...No harsh feeling towards the game itself...

Side note: Play Diablo 3

There is end game content in Tera but like nearly every mmorpg out there it is centered around making your gear the best it can possibly be....Lots of Boss fights..I don't know any mmorpg that doesn't turn out this way....
Oh I forgot Tera does have a political system for end game content where people vote for players (who gets a title called Vanarch) These Vanarchs end up owning and managing large portions of the game world...They manage taxes for their area as well as help the community gain bonuses towards gameplay.

I liked Tera for it's combat. The combat in that game was so seamless and smooth I wanted to get it just for that. I do agree every game turns into get better gear. Sort of why I like shooters because even playing fields means it comes down to skill, not who has better gear.

Which reminds me now that you say skill. Tera plays like fighter games such soul calibur where player skill is important...Its not like most mmorpgs that have lock ons. You don't click on a mob or player and start button smashing you have to aim your character at your target (which is moving) to land blows.
In Tera its all about movement and trying to attack your opponent bang on..They can doge (literally) and you can miss.... So I think getting better gear helps but not that much since skill plays an important part in PVP and PVE.

I payed $60 when Aion Online came out and played for only a week and never returned. I had close friends in Silkroad that had vent so i decided to join them and replay sro.
Never returned to Aion to play it again but as of a week ago. I've started playing again as Aion has changed to F2P. So much fun when you have quite a few friend's on Teamspeak.
I lost interest in Silkroad beginning of 12D... Only reason i played was for friends. But, even they are starting to give up and join the Aion wagon and they are hooked on it.
Servers are dead as a doornail, same shit different degree. If you can't plus your gear for FREE and be the same as a paying player then it's not a F2P MMO anymore...
Anyone that plays is just addicted and can't see through it.

My only complaint with Aion is that they give me way too many skills. I don't want to have 40 different skills at any given moment. Sure, a bit of variety is good, but they went over board with it. Kind of turned me off.
