Keep a trader company on a trade run, don't worry, the thiefs will come to you :)

follow the trade roads, find traders and pray to god that you don't run into a thief 5+ your level.

Is there any way of telling what lvl a thief is by single clicking them? I don't want to keep being killed.

Is there any way to automatically follow a horse/camel on a trade run so I can quickly spot the thieves appearing behind them? :)

I'm doing ok killing the thieves, it's just the targeting that can get tricky when there are many players around.

Oh and do I get more skill points and exp if I wear my hunter job suit whilst killing thieves?

you can trace one of the camels...button in action menu, you select the person and then right click trace, and you'll run automatically. But it does break if you move or attack, so maybe it isn't so useful.
