I recently started powerfarming(being farmed by a higher level)and soon I need to delevel my char. Lets say my mastery level is 19 and character level 28 and i will start deleveling, do I need delevel my skill mastery too? Or i just delevel about 5 levels so a small cap stays and I could continue powerfarming.
:?

//Man.. posted it on a wrong subforum due to a misclick, someone kind could relocate it :) Thanks.

To get the most sp you should have a 9 gap. That's the best sp you can get. Anything higher or lower isn't has good.

If you could, I'd delvl your skill mastery's to like level 10 or something. That way, when you farm at ongs, *which I'm guessing you are*, you can delvl all the way back down to 19.

Welcome to SRF btw. = )

Yes 9 is the best, but every time I level up I need to increase mastery. So that means, every time I'm deleveling, I need to decrease my mastery too? Or just to stay at one level with gap 9(delevel right before next level up). And thanks for the warm welcome by the way :)

Forgive me, I'm tired, and so, slightly confused as to what your asking.

You increase the skill mastery/level every time you level? Why would you do that if your farming? The idea is to not raise your skill mastery/level. Let your own level fluctuate a bit. Like if you had your skill masteries at level 10, you could level up from 19-26ish before having to delvl due to sp being slow.

The idea level to be, below the mob your getting plvled on, is 11 levels lower. You should strive to be within 2-3 levels of this 11 levels lower to get the optimal amount of sp per kill.

*Hopes this made sense.*

Edit: Ooohh, 8000th post. Cool. XD

What most people have told me is to keep your mastery at 10. That way when you're done deleveling to 19, you still have a 9-gap.

in reality, the best way to farm at ongs is to up NO masteries at all. This way you will level slower, thus able to farm for longer periods. Yes its true a 20 gap will give you the same sp as a 9 gap, but you lv faster with a 9 gap. Up no masteries at all and dlv at around 26 or so is optimum farm for ongs
