you'd have to use the smc rc for that. If you want to make the restart legit. Or you can spawn 5000000000000k cerberus and that'll crash it aswell. lol |

There's no command that I know of. You can do that stuff via SMC or manually restart the server modules. |

Not ingame no. You'd have to go to the smc and shut down the service. At least on vsrofiles. Which I assume you use. There's shitty guides saying you can restart it, but it's a lie the commands doesnt work. GO onto your remote control if you're not running the server on your computer, open the smc either close the gateway server to prevent login server to work or just shut everythign down either by right clicking taking shut down all services or by "x"ing all the windows. Depends what you're planning on doing. You can disconnect other players, move them etc ingame but you can't make a multicast that disconnects everyone ingame which is good so no gm abuse their powers. |

@Aristocrat thanks for the info. but i really wonder why there is nothing like /serverrestart command to force restart server. like for example its so lag ingame and doing a restart is the best first possible solution to the problem. |

azmarialee are you the one hosting it/owning it? Server shouldnt lag due to stuff that happens ingame unless it's running on a bad computer. Whats the server specs? |

actually im a proxy GM. im have not restart a server before so i didn't know. about the server, it is located in Germany. so the best way is do a remote restart. but i dont know how. specs is great i suppose. not much info about this one but we have a provider. |

are u using any program to see traffic? What you might be experiencing if you don't have protection is a smaller ddos attack or provider having some issues |

The reason for this lag is the unique mobs spawned by the head GM. Hahahaha. So i was thinking of doing a restart (which i dont have access to SMC). Is it really OK to crash the server? Will it restart automatically after crash? or it depends on the setting? |
