I fcked up today. Okay so i have all my files: movies, music etc. in folder named "Downloads" and today accidently i moved it to another folder, which is in the same Disc ( D ). Now i can't enter the Downloads folder anymore, it says that it's empty, but i didin't delete anything i just moved it to another place. And D disc has the same ammount of free space as before. Any ideas what to do? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a permissions issue. Are you on an account with administrative rights?

+1

check and make sure you are under full rights to access all folders. looks like you may have placed it in something restricted.

if it is a rights issue then boot into safe mode and login to the hidden administrator (if its xp from what it looks like) not sure if it works on vista. normally they way is not password protected but for people who know about it tend to lock it with a password.
