 Post subject: SRO VS MAC <.< Crossover

So.. Crossover games doesn't work no matter what.. Wine doesn't work from what I have read.. The only thing to do.. is to buy a pc or put some windows on my mac? Someone has to have some kind of fix for this. Anyone ? o.o

I would imagine crossover uses the same core APIs as wine. Wine is currently not working for various games that use HackShield, not just SRO. From what I read, wine is missing some kernel-level (I believe) code that HackShield is looking for. Since wine is open source, someone knowledgeable enough could probably write the required stuff...

I'm tempted to shrink one of my Linux partitions and put Windows XP on just to run SRO. meh...
