Hello, I have come across a little problem in running the game. After Gameguard shows up and patches, I am stuck with the launcher on screen with a missing Start button. I have tried all possible solutions on resolving this issue. I have exempted Silkroad in Firewall, ran it as Admin, added it on DEP, tried running it in Compatibility mode. Still no luck. I have ran out of ideas on solving this issue. So I have come here to ask for help, hoping that there might be another soul out there experiencing the same demise as me. Thank you for your time. Really looking forward to possible solutions on this matter. |

I'm running Windows 8 as well, and this has never happened to me. I suppose you've already tried simply uninstalling it, and then installing it again? Also, make sure that your anti-virus software isn't modifying or deleting any files from the Silkroad-R folder. |
