It just came to my head that I maybe had an interessant theory about the perfect hybrid. (With this only meaning the disturbance of the stat points) I used a Titan Celestial bow (10D) from http://www.nivlam.comExample: The bow has an average Phys.Att of 1478 and an average Mag.Att of 2365, An average Phy.R. of 236.9% and an average Mag.R. of 379 % Now my theory is to make the perfect balance. (2365 x 3.79)/(1478 x 2.369)= perfect balance between your STR and INT points. Here : 1 point of STR for every 2.56 points of INT. -> +/- 5 STR / 13 INT. So the formula would be for a build more STR then INT: (Phy.Attack x Phy.Reinforce)/(Magical Attack x Magical Reinforce)= How much STR points for 1 INT point. Formula for a build with more INT then STR: (Magical attack x Magical reinforce)/(Physical attack x Physical reinforce)= How many INT points for 1 STR point. Please tell me at a descent way that I'm incorrect or not. Grtz.

I don't know, for me it seems like you were only playing with the numbers. Thing is, _IceCold_ wrote: Please tell me at a descent way that I'm incorrect or not. We cannot do that. No one can. Maybe you've really discovered the perfect hybrid formula, maybe it's only another way of building it, though I really doubt there's a thing such as a perfect hybrid in silkroad, as most of the things on this game seem to vary according to your personal opinion. So, no, I don't really think you are actually correct.

It makes sense, I must admit. Could easily be tested if anyone feels like making a new char

seems logical but ur kinda basing it on ur attack rather than defence. For example (and this is not true), a spear's perfect hybrid was a 1:7 sumthing, i'd still think it a 1:5 id better. So IMO, for ints, base ur hybrid on the ammount of xtra defence and hp u want. Ur theory might work with str's. But it's still a theory, u'll probably have to try it out urself in-game to see the results against other builds

False! Your defense is more balanced compared to a pure, thus overall damage is less.

Your defense is more balanced compared to a pure, thus overall damage is less. You two are wrong. - It's not for the highest damage, because pure int deals higher damage than all, whichever weapon it is. So for the highest damage, you'd simply need to go with a pure int.
- You also cannot say that the defense is better, as it'd depend on too many variables, like: Masteries set, int/str ratios, opponent masteries, opponent build, opponent's weapon, if you have shield or not, etc, etc. For instance, one of the builds with higher overall defense I can think of right now would be a shield wearing hybrid 1:1 in garment with maxed cold and fire.
I say again that it seems to me like he was only playing with numbers. This 'formula' actually leads nowhere in my opinion, though I may be wrong, as always.

You are right, I was just playing with the numbers, there are so many more factors wich are important. It was just a thougt that crossed my mind.
