Well this is a thought, mainly for high level str based chars with force. Can the force debuffs replace the fire str dmg buff?

I mean if int builds don't necessarily need light tree to get kills, do str builds really need fire?

I agree that the fire/cold tree gives the best defense to a str char while fire/force gives the most offence. But what about other possible builds?

Say bich/cold/force? Made specifically to target people that are not immune?
Or hybrid str huek/light/force? more dmg and aoe skills for fast pve as well as mobility to quickly disable or destroy the damage dealers or buffers in group pvp?

Or other such str builds that do NOT use fire as a main tree?

Difference between int and str is that ints got a good base dmg without their dmg increase buffs. Phy dmg is already low (compared to int dmg) so they need every bit of dmg increase they can get. I honestly never thought about a fireless str build and I can't imagine it working out well.

Then think about it now? Maybe fire isn't all that necessary?

Ok bladers with their low dmg really do need it but glaviers and bowers already have some nice base damage, more so with crits mixed in, why not branch out and get different skills?

The phy dmg buffs also work for the crits, I'm highly convinced you won't do enough dmg, with or without crits, if you don't have the fire buff+passive.

Well I believe you though I would prefer bich/ice/force, but I just love bich over huek :P

And debuffs don't work for crits?
Afaik bleed + that debuff that reduces def give you an approximate 25% dmg boost whereas fire buff + passive from fire is what 22%?

There is no bleed debuff =p And well maybe it does give you a whopping 3% more dmg boost. Imagine putting it together, you'll do 50% more dmg.
