I know there are lots of similiar threads here. (I have scanned through the 200+ Pages :banghead: ) Since most of them are outdated and old, I would like to raise these FAQs again.


This is one of the guides I read.

I am still new to the skill mastery system. So here are my questions:

1) Is there any ways to adjust my mastery distribution and allow me to get the Piercing Force and Wind Walk Series?

I understand that there is a 330 mastery cap. So let me know if I am wrong:

Thus, by doing so, if I were to max Heuk, Cold and Fire at Lv 100 cap each. I still can have 30 mastery levels to spend.

Yes, you would have 30 levels left that you can put into whatever you want. I would recommend you to upgrade the skills to 110 for the extra damage and defense.

You're on isro so you would eventually get up to 110. You won't do well with a 10 gap. If you are desperate for light buffs I'd say go a bit hybrid and take a mix of light and ice. Although honestly you don't need light, just get speed pots and you're set.

I have read the thread about Lightning damage Vs Fire damage thread with proof. Lightning is cool, just that I know it is impossible now to get all skills learn when there is a mastery cap. xD

The maxed 4th skill gives 55% mp absorption , the 5th (The level 100 skill) gives 60% mp absorption , he asks you to level the 5th 1 time only as :

1- If you want to keep your ice mastery at 100 .

2- That skill has 4 tiers and every tier above the first one gives you only 1% increase in snow sheild .
So first tier of four (1/4) gives you 60% mp absorption .
2/4 gives you 61% mp absorption ( 14796 sp required ) ,
3/4 gives you 62% mp absorption ( 16418 sp required ) ,
4/4 gives you 63% mp absorption ( 18040 sp required ) ,

So overally it is not worth it to upgrade more than he said .

Btw you need to level up all the first 4 skill to the max (6) to be able to level up your 5th skill in that tree .





Fire shield reduces zombie , frostbite , freeze , lightning shock , burn , etc .

But it doesn't affect debuffs , that's why a good warlock pwn most chinese .

I see, what about the Chain Spear Skill? As from what I read, many comments rate it as an optional skill.

I cant find an answer from youtube and google. However, most consider it as Strength build (Glaive) and PvE skill. Damn, the Sp required is alot.

Follow that up with a Ghost-Spear spin that does instant damage and you've done around 75-80% of the damage a Soul Spear combo does, approximately one second faster.

Doesn't sound much, does it. But when you're out grinding and doing the same combo over and over, those little seconds add up. Or if you're wailing on a Unique, or fighting for your life against another player, a second may mean the difference between getting your name up on the server and surviving your PvP encounter.


This is the best explanation I have found so far and from what I understand, he was saying Chain Spear damage is Total 6 hits gives you total 1009 ~ 1297(83%) damage. It sounds logical since it will be imba if 6 hits damage = 6 x 1009 ~ 1297(83%).

And chain spear sounds like a good intermediate skill in the skill combo due to its fast casting and recovery.

However, my another doubt is: I know it is good for Str based character, but what about a pure Int Spear user like me? I know that I am a nuker but it could be useful for me when grinding giant and unique. Is the damage difference between Str based and Int based significant for Heuk skills?

There aren't many that plays chinese spear now and not until joymax makes chinese skills stronger (like ksro) .

D= Anyways, I have some topic debating on the strongest stat build for spear. It makes me wonder, is there a ny high level hybrid spear around?
