hello, I Am Currently Farming SP On A European Char And Want To Know People's opinions On Best Builds For PvP and Also Unique Hunting.

Player vs Player - From What I See While Taking Part In Pvp, Warrior Clerics Are One Of The Best
Unique Hunting - This Is Where I Do Not Have Much Knowledge As When I Was Playing Before European Char's Where Not Around :/

Full str rogue/cleric and full int wizz/cleric is the best for unique hunting i belive.

Okay, wouldn't it be better to have Bard on a Unique Hunter, for the Speed Increase? and if it was a Wizard surely it would help with the Mobs attacking?

What benefits would you have from Cleric instead of Bard?

You can always buy 100% speed scrolls to counteract the possible loss of moving/swing march. Cleric gains Bless in case you need to tank spawns, healing cycle/orbit, holy word/spell for status reduction. You'll last longer as a wiz/cleric than wiz/bard, even though with bard noise less mobs would attack you - dependent on your gap. Keep in mind most uniques and elites are immune to noise, they'll still attack you. And in parties cleric subs are nice for bless cycle and res.

Also, in pvp some people overlook absolute damage. It is handy to one-shot a wizard/cleric through bless, and offering is dependent on whether or not it hits. Bard does get absolute dmg too but it's less damage.

yes that is a good point about the speed potions, although i was thinking noise would help with the giants etc. that spawn with uniques rather than them itself. But the bless spell and healing cycle etc. is more important than noise i guess, and Res is always helpful in Party's .

how much speed do you lose if you have speed potions instead of Maxed Swing March? or (highest moving speed)

Champs and giants are unaffected by noise. They still attack you.

well it's been a while, I think it's 120% at max, so only about 20% speed.

oh, it makes Bard not useful at all then... okay well Cleric it is then. Just have to decide between Wizard and Xbow any help?

If you go xbow/cleric, get daggers too.

Otherwise, go wiz/cleric.

Wiz = Higher damage, easier to find parties. Squishy in pvp though.

Rogue = Amazing in pvp. But not the easiest to find parties, since all you can do is str cleric.

think i will go with the the Wizard/Cleric as the game play looks a lot easier than Rogue (unless i'm wrong)

Wizard is pretty easy to play in a party. Stand there, aoe nuking mobs, scream at tank when buffs wear off, so on and so forth.

Yeah lol, the only thing is that party training is not as tactically involved as other games i have played previously. But i think a Wizard will defiantly be needed in this group and Bard/Cleric will be another.

Cleric sub is an easy choice. Makes you OP without much effort. Keep healing orbit/Healing cycle up, and you'll be a boss in pvp/group fights.

Bard is more so for soloing/an easy ride to cap. Since you can get into higher level parties easier. But a bard sub is no where near as good as a cleric sub, in terms of pvp.

In my case, I actually had both a wiz/bard and wiz/cleric. I actually ended up liking soloing with a wiz/cleric much better. Simply because you could bless/heal when needed. Made it much easier to kill giants and what not.

Okay, so possibly all have cleric as sub? and then obviously have the bard from the main skills.

seems like a good group in terms of skills, just means that we all have to decide which build we taking and make sure we know how to play the builds we have.

Shouldn't be hard as we will level them up so will learn to play as they grow.
