simple question but i kinda want some feedback, im a rogue/bard right now but im thinking of curse hearting to become a rogue cleric for pve and pvp. pvp wise bard doesnt serve much of a purpose besides bind. but cleric has that as well and cleric u can heal urself. i know bless is out but i never really used it in the old sro anyway so which should i go with?

pve wise ive felt bard is really good especially with the speed, any thoughts?''

if you read this, just post an opinion really quick would be much appreciated

I donno.. depends how much you PvP really.. in group PvP i personally think a bard would be very useful instead..

cleric sub is obviously waay more useful in both group and 1v1 pvp..IMO cleric is better for PvE too..granted u can buy speed pots. U wont have to run from giants as u would have to with bard sub.

Well in SRO-R you can get free pots and sos armour / staff so i can easily kill giants (obviously right spell @ right time)

I think the question might need to be more specific.

For example, are you planning to do party pvp ? job pvp ? what job are you planning to be ? solo pve or party pve?

Personally I loved being a Rogue/Bard as a thief who was thiefing solo most of the time.
The strategy I used as a thief excelled because I did not agro mobs because of noise.
When not thiefing, during forgotten world runs I would just switch to full bard mode and fallasleep tracing someone :) bard skills rock in parties.

+1 for giving advice on a 3 year old thread :)

I'snt just about every thread here 3 years old? 8)

And I WISH! I love this game, still the best time I've ever had playing some video/online game.

If there is any stable private server that has the old job system, I will most deffinately consider playing it. But if there is no "triangular conflict" I'm not playing it.
