Post subject:  Entire SRO World as per the Minimap [Updated 11/7]

I've put together images of the entire SRO world as per the minimap in my spare time while waiting for the updates. It's just all of those images of the minimap put into 6 files - combined, the file is too big for Windows to handle. No, I didn't manually combine, I wrote myself a simple little program to do so.

They are JPGs because anything else would be a 3 digit MB size each. I've placed them in a .ZIP so I don't get killed on bandwidth from my site of people trying to view them if I would not have.

Here are some example areas if you want to take a look before downloading:

And the download [14.7 mb]:

And the caves [170kb]:

Enjoy! There's lots of stuff you can do with the various sections. Serious guilds can use the detailed sections to outline trade runs, unique hunting areas, and what not for their own use. Or, you can all collaborate where to take your NPC thieves to wipe out the largest botter concentrations. ;)

[Edit]
How it was done -
1. Used a pk2 extractor to extract out the mini-map files (naturally the files in a folder marked minimap).
2. Spent a few days a while back figuring out what those files were (.DDJ files).
3. Converted those files to BMPs with a program I wrote (DDJ Viewer).
4. Used a library I have lots of experience with to programatically put together all the images.

[Edit 2]
I forgot the caves!

Post subject:  Re: Entire SRO World as per the Minimap [Updated 11/7]

There was a site that showed the map the same way. Next to thief town there was an area that was very similar to thief town, but it was a bit empty. :D
Also that map showed almost double map, there was another map exactly the same but not all the areas next to the real one. :D
That was quite weird. :D
