THAT IS AWESOME!
but...after reading this I was hoping daggers+cleric or 1 hand sword+cleric

would this work well?
bcus of being pure str for my main...would I not have enough mp to act as a cleric?

also, could someone go sayyy rogue+warrior?

Well as a secundary class you can do it. But you shouldn't use cleric attacks and such, because you won't deal much dmg at all.

And yes of course you can do rogue+warrior.

I'm going to do rogue(d-daggers)+rogue(crossbow) 8)
thats wat i want to do also 8) regarding that would it be smarter to keep a 1 gap and only focus on the rouge mastery, so it will be easier to lvl both crossbow and dagger skills?
another question: can the rouge mask skill be used on uniques o.O

I don't think you'll make it with a 1gap. I'm a rogue on kSro. And i also selected warrior skills up to lvl 18. So i don't know for sure.

And i don't know if you can transform into a unique. But I don't see why you couldn't.

I do not know if it can be used on uniques. But I heard that you can transform into other players at lvl 40. So i don't see why you shouldn't be able to.

TwelveEleven wrote:

Let's start of by saying: You don't have to farm much on a european character.

That being said. You can only get 2 mastery trees. You gain 2 mastery levels to your max mastery levels with each level you gain. So with each level you gain. You can only add 2 new mastery levels. This way you are very restricted from choosing a lot of skills. You can only get 2 complete mastery trees..

You are likely to only select a few skills from a tree. So you don't need much sp. Example: You're a rogue. You are only doing D-Daggers till you're a high lvl. You are only leveling 1 mastery tree. With only a few skills in it (Dagger skills) you don't need much sp at all. And you can 0 gap all the way.

And what if I do want a gap. Well if you're going to do multiple trees at once. A 3 level Gap should be sufficient. (I was in a party for half an hour with a 3 gap. And i gained 700sp. At level 18)

What if i do want to 9 gap a bit. Then you will get a lot of sp really fast (If you are in a party) and you will be able to get 3000/4000sp in a full party pretty fast. (2 hours.) Especially if you are using a double spxp ticket and a GT. You would be able to get 9000 ~ 12000 sp in 2 hours. This sounds insane. And it is. :) I tested it only with a 3 gap. In a 6man party on kSro where we were beating level 30~31 monsters. and in half an hour i gained 700sp. So if you are beating monsters your level with 8 people. You should be able to get 500sp half an hour with a 9 gap REALLY easy.

I will try to test with a 9 gap if i get the chance. But it's rare to get even a 6man party in kSro.

That's it for now. hope this helps.

Your statement is just not true. LOL I dont think you played Euro very long. In China, if you just play, you dont notice that you need SP till about 40 or so. Same with Euro. Telling ppl that they can have two masteries is going to mess up a few builds. You can have two masteries if you only want 1/3 of the skills on each one by 40. Getting ALL the skills is impossible with one mastery at 40 w/o farming..

You are spreading misinformation that may cause a lot of ppl to reroll.

I'm warrior with second mastery on Rogue. I took it for the mask making skill, so i can have more money, not really for fighting passives or buffs...

$_$ he mentioned money....how much do those mask sell for...it can'tbe alot if all rougues can amke them and all they have to do is kill the monster they want to make it from...any answers

well NB i made a little basic info guide and my char just got to lvl 20 xP
i just tried to put in all info i heard/experienced so far. i think this guide
is a good start, but it sais "incomplete", so if we all help out with what we
know, we can make this into a "complete" guide.

if you have any info that needs to be added or corrected, please let us
know. it would be highly appreciated since we dont know all of what
europe has to offer.

anyway, what im trying to say is that if we all work together a bit on this,
we can make a good guide. but until then, i think its good to try and put
our known information together as good as we can.

offtopic: that pic was hot :) fun movie too

edit:
topic cleaned. if you have additions/corrections, post them but keep it nice.

I actually did play euro for pretty long.. And as you should've read. I said if you only take out a few skills of a mastery tree, you don't have to farm. For example: Only D-dagger skills of a rogue. Also I don't consider 1-3 gapping farming. And if you do keep a 3gap you SHOULD have enough sp by the time you get to 40 to get 'all' your skills.

And yes i know you can't complete 2 mastery trees completely. And i'll add that to the guide.

Anyways thanks for the correction.

Don't assume anything... This game still focuses majorly on grinding and thus I wouldn't be surprised if you have to end up farming sp at some level. As fast as the euro chars level, I'll probably have a 5 gap from 1 ~ 40. I'm hoping to basically fully skill the entire warrior tree so I can swap to 1h or 2h sword whenever needed, and d-axes when I get bored. Besides, covering 3 weapons like that should allow me to easily find sos for my build ^^. As for my second tree... probably be cleric.

are u suggesting i 5 gap even though i only would have to cover 2 weapons instead of you're 3?

so if i understand correct:

* Each character type has 1 specific mastery tree.
* Besides the main tree of your character you can select a second one (eg. Rogue - Cleric)
* There is no diff. in weapon trees and magical trees like in chinese. Does this mean in euro one mastery tree contains both magical as weapon skills?

Some more questions:

Are skills weapon depended?
What are good character mastery combinations?

Thx again
