you are right, so you must the get 1st hit, advantages goes to dagger since even though dagger -75% phy and mag def. but you can cancel it and you are safe. but Xbow hp down to 50%, when you cancel off you need to eat your pot, then if are a bard that is the end of your hp, no more second pot you can eat. lolz.

another thing for the main post, i not suggest max out all skill if you want to have a sub, poison skill tree no need to max out since you solo and kill 1 by 1. other from that i agree, and i suggest who want to play rogue use xbow for training, the best way to lv up. even lv40 is also same, why? cos you have far range, can change target by target

Theres no Hp penalty for canceling DD i do it all the time when im in Exp Parties and things get too hot. In theory canceling would work well but i go big or i go home...either i kill you in the first or second hit or i take a beating.....You'' normally kill ints in 1-2 hits (thats hits not skillz) Euro strs will take a bit more...i don't find glaivers a problem but with bladers bring a shield with for the KD's and canceling DD might help a bit

Dagger Desperate only reduces your defense (by alot). Crossbow Extreme reduces your HP by 50% and your Physical Defense by 40%.

Need to equip harp for that passive to work.

...and doesn't even apply to anything but certain skills in the first place (Music Pleasure Line and the Dancing Concert Skill Line).

Little piece of info I picked up from the forums:
Buff stay after weapon switch
1. Cleric
- Healing Cycle
- Bless
- Holy Word
- Recovery Division (that's the name I think, haven't gotten it yet)
- Body Blessing (Only stays on other players if you switch, you lose it yourself)

2. Bard
- Mana Cycle
- Moving March
- Noise
- Temptation

--There is also discussion about Rogue/Warlock... we'll see where that goes.

I have a rogue bard. I am questioning keeping bard. But I had to lol today when a lower lvl rogue trader I had killed told me I was a nub for having bard sub. And went on to say that cleric was a much better sub. Said healing division etc was better. TBH I have not had that skill to test so anyone with some decent input is apreciated. But if it requires you to have cleric rod out to keep it going I don't really see the use. As for bard it has made me a quick and stealth assassin. I am looking at the benefits of other subs though before I invest more in it. So what are your guys lvls subs and why do you like them?

hmmm..... i dont think cleric is the best subclass for rogue, since it depends on you, how you use/play your rogue.

party play for xbow: - go for bard
- In this case, when you r in a party with a cleric and couple of tanker, i think you will need bard as subclass and you will need frequently using ur CE. By using Noise, the chance you get hit/killed by mobs is less except for champ and Giant. You even will not need much healing coz no general mobs can chase u. attack what your tanker attack and protect your cleric from general mobs.....

solo play for xbow - go for bard
- Know what mob you want hunt. For aggressive general mobs, you can take them in couple shot, and you dont need cleric sub instead of bard for Noise and moving march. You probably wont be hit by general mobs, so dont need cleric, right?

Party play for DDagger - go for cleric
- you maybe have cleric in your party and they have bless. You can cast bless when the cleric's bless is still cooling down. You also can cast healing cycle or whatever its name for extra healing. You must keep yourself alive, since it has no use if u have bard class.... and its helpful if u cast DD

solo play for Ddager - go for cleric
- same role as when you r playing in the party..... cast bless spell and healing cycle, and you will be fine......



i'm (lvl 4x) currently using bard as subclass...... because i need to kill fast and run fast in pvp or job. I'm using both of weapon..... but mainly xBOW

Don't get influence by those people that said ur build is no good or having this sub is weak or whatsoever, because obviously you are the one who controlling the character and having a sub like bard doesn't make the world upside-down and obviously they just wanna scare you and make you think that you are the weakest and etc, don't believe on that, moreover they are actually the one who is nub.

It all depends on your playstyle, if you think that healing skills will help you in your daily leveling, then go for it. Or if you think that addition movement speed will help you in escaping giants or other benefits, then go for it. There is always nothing wrong to choose bard as your sub and also choose cleric as your sub.

so what's would be best sub for PvP Rogue any?

In PvP, we didn't care much abt sub, because we normally focus more on casting your main class skill.

im a rogue but 2str 1 int, lot of problems occur. my damage is not that good,waaaa

hope theres a item in mall that can reset a build...........

Ever since euro been implemented in iSRO, I will say that for every euro build, don't care whether you are a bard or a warlock, either you go pure INT or pure STR.

i think clerics can be hybrids....say a cleric/warrior if they're focus is healing they'd only need int for MP...they won't be the best warriors but i don't see anything wrong with that

Int does effect the hp restored by Healing... something like 1 hp/1 int

can any of the dagger skills also be used with crosssbow? eg. the passives?

I don't think so. Mostly passive for dagger, passive for xbow.
