I don't know jack about euro's or their builds but this is definitely one of the nicest guides around, the photoshop style really makes it interesting to look at and it seems very professional.

w00t, thanks for comment and glad you liked it. =)

And yes, the reason I chose to create a guide using Photoshop is so that the information could be portrayed in a more interesting manner. I just think reading a wall of text without pictures gets boring quickly, and perhaps cause the reader to miss vital information about the material.

So thanks again! ;D

best-lookin guide ever on SRF!

pls try to resize the pic's width to 750 or 700 pixels so it won't resize the forum window so much.

I've been wanting something like this since day 1 of the euro update. Thank you so much for putting your time into this guide. :)

Hey thanks for comments everyone! ^__^

I wanted to type more examples of how to use warlocks skills while jobbing, but I decided to leave that to people's imagination. =) Maybe they come up with crazier things than I have. xD

If I had made the guide thinner, it would just be even longer, which was something i was trying to avoid. But yeah, sorry for stretching your window. =(

Really really like the stylizing element of it and contains alot of really good info...

like the rendering of the offering skill...pro pshop skills there.

this reminds me of a signature graphics tut, but more organized and very easy to comprehend...

:D :D :D :D

does the cleric (as a sub) skills work good on a Wiz as well? i wasn't sure what skills to use if i were to go cleric as a sub.

awesome guide btw 8) very informative :D

Awesome guide! One of the best warlock guides I've seen. I'm a warlock with a bard subclass, but cleric is becoming really tempting.

omg, I just skim through your guide. So no comment on the context.

But the layout is amazingly beautiful. =D

Great guide lay-out wise, but a lot harder to search for on the forums as it is only pictures and not text.

Just one question. Why use cleric as sub and not bard ? You gain health by the vampire thingy and since your pure int, the mana cycle from bard comes in very handy.

hehe you'll be surprised at the damage the build can do once you get the hang of it. ^__^ Thanks for input!

Of course! You can use my cleric tips and use them with a Wizard as well. My only advice for that build though is to use Life Control as least as possible. Not only does it make you vulnerable to dying, but even Bless Spell won't be strong enough to protect you from critical hits you can receive. =)

My character also started as a Warlock/Bard in the beginning as well. I deleveled my Bard skills and repalced them with Cleric skills- best move I made IMO. =)

Yeah, you have a point there! xD Maybe I should have wrote down a bunch of words relating to the guide somewhere in the post haha

And for your question, HP leeching skills take around 2-3 seconds to cast which could be enough time for someone to kill you. Recovery Division keeps your HP at a steady level when in combat with another opponent, and you also have the ability to use your Vampire Touch/Kiss skills without being totally dependent on them. As far as Mana Cycle goes, I find that it's pretty unnecessary for Warlocks- I've never been in a situation in which my MP wasn't regenerating fast enough. :P

Did you get your SP lvling with a Gap or were you Power SP'd

Just wondering if I should level my nuker up more so I can farm SP with him.

Oh yeah and cool guide! :) Explains all the important notes!

Nice guide. Not very much info but very shiny :))) looks good. but thing u wrote that DoT dmg decrase by going not pure int... is it true? cause i wanted to make 3 int 1str warlock/cleric hybrid. i even made a litle strategy to it... so but i need max dmg from DoT skills that means if im hybrid i make less dmg? i know that crappy nuke will do not much but its not the piont. i guess im going pure int for now... maibe changing latter

Well, I levelled with a 0 gap from level 1-40 using GT and SP Ticket. I was mostly always in parties as well so I levelled quick. From level 40-50 I grinded alone or was occasionally powerlevelled by my friend/academy leader. =) Once I was level 50 I had a 9 level gap for farming. That's when I joined the guild I'm currently in and the higher levels in the guild began powerleveling us so we could be higher level. Since I had a 9 level gap (plus sp ticket and GT) I was able to gather enough SP to be ALMOST full-farmed, but not quite. =P Currently, My Warlock skills are up to level (Lv 60) and my Cleric skills are at level 55, which I won't update until I'm level 64. :) But I highly recommend that you take your time and farm your character before you start levelling- you won't regret having max skills for both trees all the way!

Thanks! But this was only made with the knowledge I've gathered through playing this build. I'm sure other Warlock/Clerics as yourself could also offer other lots of useful tips and strategies that I may not be aware of yet. :D I believe it's best to look at more than one point of view on a subject before arriving to a conclusion.

Thanks, and like I said, if you feel I missed anything I'll gladly update the guide to reflect your input. And yes, Warlock skill damage (like any int build, or any build really) is highly dependent on your stat distribution. By going hybrid you'll sacrifice a large amount of damage for more HP which can easily be obtained through the use of alchemy on your gear. Don't let the fact that you're pure INT scare you. Once you begin fighting other players, you'll understand how important it is not to be hybrid as a Warlock/Cleric.

Great guide, but I have a few questions / comments

I have to scroll side to side a lot :( could it be narrowed up a bit?

Is there a txt version available so I can print it?

Was there any warloc skills you left out? If so why?

Hey man,that's a real great guide 8)

Was thinking starting a warlock/cleric myself a while back, but decided to start a rogue, which is also fun (and just love the crits).

Nice guide but i have 2 points to discuss:
- I don't agree in using robe instead of light armor, i feel light armor is "in general" more useful along the game.
- Would you post your skill bars ?

Author:  Mefra [ Thu Oct 04, 2007 4:14 pm ]
Post subject:

Oh yeah, could you perhaps post the skills that stay after switching weapons? Cause I'm thinking of subbing my rogue with warlock...(or cleric, don't know which one yet ;-))
