how valid is this build after the latest patch? I was looking at tweaking it somewhat (avoiding fire/lightning). I am currently keeping a 4 gap, but finding it abit difficult (only L12)... will it get easier at higher levels? Should I be doing something different prior to 20? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Some more insight is that I plan to use cleric heavily and group with friends at higher levels. If that makes a difference.

my friend and I just started playing, and my friend took a wizard.

he's now lvl 17, and he has Cold spirit(ice mentalist) and ice bolt which he is "uping" it when he can

from now on, should he just take skills related to ice/cold, or every skills there's on this guide that is required to take??

like can he also take earth and fire skills, or it's gonna be useless????

thanks!

a wizard should have all 4 elements..almost all the higher lvls have all the 4 different nukes.

you only need the firebolt, meteor from fire tree, ice bolt/frozen spear and snowshield/blizzard from ice tree, earthshock/earthquake from earth tree, and charged wind/squall from lightning tree.

if your soloing most of the time..get ice bolt and fire bolt first since they do good dmg with fast cooldowns. But once you start partying in 8 man parties you'll need all those skills i listed above for sure.

You typed "required", do you mean that you have to put it max? or just lvl 1?

Not for wiz.

Once you raise your cleric skill level and add some buffs like Bless, you'll do fine against champs.

-_-

What level cleric rods do you need? Hotan blacksmith has them up to lvl 90 if I recall.

If nothing else check stalls and consignment in Jangan, Const, and Hotan.

At npc's you can only buy the first tier of each degree. (Which are 1/8/16/24/32/42/52/64/76/90/101) For (16)/24/32 you have to go to Samarkand. Highest the npc sells is 76 though, higher degrees are obtained by drops or from stalls/consignment. So are 2nd and 3rd tier items of every degree.

I really love this guide :D

Wizard/Cleric is so amazing lol. I 1 hit everything, I kinda modified it for my suiting and I can solo Level 45 Giants with Bless lol >_<.

My Build ATM:
Pure INT
32+3 Seal of Moon Staff
Regular NPC Robes
Full Farmed at lvl 40 -- 40wiz/40cleric
What I do is i farm sp every ten levels, meaning i do not increase my mastery till 50 :D then 60 and so on.

My plan on Cleric mastery i might leave it to lvl 40 till 70 :D

Well cya all,
Hellz

One thing. If you are doing a taxi, you will need lighting bolt OR ground charge. Let me explain why. Then you will have 4 AoEs, so you won't have to wait while your other AoEs cooldown. That way you will kill more mobs and much faster.

If I am taxing on lower mobs with high level Wizard (for example ~101+) I level up ground charge and lightning bolt to level 1. That way you can cast AoE skills and you wont need MP pots at all, and your damage will be big anyway.
