I am currently working on an SRO guide that covers absolutely EVERYTHING. So far it's probably about 8% done, and it's already larger than most guides out there. Just wanted to warn y'all [EDIT:] Thanks cin Updated table of contents (By Rainagul). I'm not that far because of real life things, but we're thinking about changing the way this guide is going to be viewed, so it isn't that bad. Anyways, updated TOC, with easier navigation: _________________________________________________________ / 1) INTRODUCTION \ |__________________________________________________________| | Table of Contents (A) | | -none- | \__________________________________________________________/ _______________________ Disclaimer1.1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Congratulations! You have begun to embark on the wild journey of SRO. Be careful however, many people get addicted to SRO. SRO is a very fun game, however it's very risky as well. It's a game of grinding, of friends, of guilds, of battles, but especially, of grinding. Don't let this discourage you from joining the game, it is obviously enjoyed by many people, considering how many people play the game. This is just a warning for all of you, it is easy to get addicted, and some would even say "Once you start SRO, you never really quit". _______________________ Downloading the Game1.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before you start the game, you should first register, then download the game. It's very simple to figure out how to do this, so start at http://www.silkroadonline.net (Global English Site). Hit the "Create Account" button (Located below the Client Download button). Follow the steps instructed, and presto, you now have an account. Remember, SRO has some hackers, who will try and get your character and all of it's goods, usually just the goods, leaving your character without money, potions, weapons, armor, or anything else. You do NOT want to suffer this fate, especially if you have put alot of time and money into your character. To avoid being hacked, you should choose an ID that is like a password. A good ID would be something like "7bxd203ld". Notice the totally random letters and numbers in a random order. This may be hard to remember though. Some people will caution you to not use your birthday or any personal information in your ID, but I believe that it is very secure, assuming you don't tell anybody your personal information (which you should never do, of course). "160787ajg" is a very random seeming ID, is it not? But it is simply a birthday (16th of July, 1987) and initials (Austin Joseph Green) (No, that is not my birthday or my name, I wouldn't tell you that, and you shouldn't tell anybody yours either). Though this is a very secure ID, it's still not as random as the previously mentioned password. Another good way of coming up with an ID is if you have a certain phrase you like to say, or something like that. "mvemjsun" is a seemingly random password, but it's actually just the 8 planets' (we miss you pluto :[, so very dearly) initials. You can do this with all sorts of stuff, but it's best if you do this trick with something more personal, because that makes it even harder to guess your ID. REMEMBER: Your ID is THE MOST important part of your account's security, some people say otherwise, but I believe ID should be your main "source" of security. Once someone knows your ID, you can never change it. For making a password, you can do anything really, if nobody can guess your ID, then it doesn't matter how difficult your password is, is it? For the player "7bxd203ld", he could have the password "111111" and chances are he'd be perfectly safe. However, though your ID may be hard to guess, it's still guessable. You should come up with a good random password, it doesn't have to be as random as your ID, but remember, the more random the better! if "7bxd203ld" used the password "oan93ks0k32", he'd pretty much be the most unhackable person out there. NEVER FORGET your password recovery question! It's very important, and you can never change it. If you remember this, you will be able to change your password in case of suspicions of being hacked. If you don't remember it, then you will just have to hope you don't get hacked. A good technique for making password recovery questions is to have a random answer, EX: If you have the question "What's your mother's maiden name", you can have the answer be "ilikemilkshakes", this way, nobody will be able to guess what the answer is based purely on the question. ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR ANSWER THOUGH! It's essentially just a second password, but this one cannot be recovered. After registering, return to the main page and hit the Client Download button, and choose how you would like to download the game. If your computer isn't top notch or you have a slow internet connection, this could take a while. Not too long ago however, they updated the way the game is downloaded, and it should only take 10m~1h. _______________________ Introduction1.3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I played this game for 2 years or more, and I must say, it was quite the game. Throughout all of my experiences, I've never reached above level 54. However, I also never bought silk (A type of currency bought with real money to give the user an advantage in game, explained later) and didn't play the game very hardcore. It took me over a year to reach that level, before I got hacked. Though I didn't reach the maximum level in the game, I still have an expansive knowledge of the game from friends, personal experience, watching higher levels, watching videos, studying the game, guides, and other methods of collecting knowledge. I also have (or at least I think I do) a pretty good common sense. This guide is based mostly on my views, but not solely on them. Keep in mind, though this may be the largest guide written about SRO (At least to my knowledge), it's not the most in depth about EVERYTHING. Once you've decided what type of character and build you want to make, you should read my guide on it, but then look up more guides about them. Keep in mind that some guides are misinformed or outdated. This guide was hard to write in a new-player friendly format. Though this guide is readable as a totally new player, it's easier to read it if you already have some SRO experience. This game is lots of fun, and chances are you will have a great time playing it . If you've been reading this from the very beginning, then don't worry, we'll get to the juicy stuff soon, but before we begin, let's have a quick look at the update history. _______________________ Update History1.4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Version 1.00 - __________________________________________________________ / 2) BEFORE YOU BEGIN \ |__________________________________________________________| | Table of Contents (B) | | Chinese [2.2*1] | | European [2.2*2] | | Strength [2.3*1] | | Intelligence [2.3*2] | | Hybrid [2.3*3] | \__________________________________________________________/ _______________________ In Game Terminology2.1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - AFAIK - As far as I know

_______________________ Choosing Your Race2.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the game of International Silkroad Online, there are currently two different races. The first race is the Chinese race, they were the first race that was released, and were the only race available until very recently. They are difficult characters to build and they focus mainly on solo grinding. They are very versatile and have many different options for weapons and magical ability. These are good characters to start out with to get a good feel for the game. Chinese characters grind slowly, but they hardly ever die, and in higher levels, they become very powerful. They have buffs for themselves, and not for the entire party, assuming they're in a party. The second race is the European race which has only been out for a short amount of time. They are often considered to be much better and much more powerful. They focus on party training, because they have a large pot delay. They have very powerful attacks and are able to grind solo, but they will often die if they fight giants, unless they are a warrior. Their buffs apply to the whole party. _______________________ Chinese2.2*1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are seven masteries that a Chinese character can learn: *Note* When I refer to how strong a skill is in this section, it is comparing it to the strength of other Chinese skills, not European skills. - Bicheon - The mastery which uses swords and blades. Makes good use
of chain attacks. Is able to equip a shield which increases defence and has the ability to block. In later levels, they gain the ability to give "Status effects". Very good at surviving, but not so great at dealing damage. Its passive skill increases blocking ratio. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Heuksal - The mastery which uses spears and glaives. Makes good use
of powerful, single hit attacks. Has a skill which increases hitpoints. They have the ability to stun from an early level (explained later), as well as the ability to knockback enemies from a medium level. In later levels, they do not gain any special abilities. Its passive skill is the skill which increases the player's hitpoints (health). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Pacheon - The mastery which uses bows. Makes good use of critical
attacks. Uses arrows to attack, which take up alot of inventory room. In later levels, they gain the ability to knockback and stun. Very powerful in later levels, though at the beginning they only have medium strength. Its passive skill increases attack rating. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Cold - The mastery which lets you control the ice "element". The
cold imbue allows for you to frostbite and/or freeze the enemy which you are attacking. This imbue the weakest of all imbues, but many think that the status effects make up for it. When using cold imbue, it is very hard to die because frostbiting slows down all attacks your enemy is performing, and freezing completely stops them. The cold tree has skills which increase physical defence, and has multiple skills which give freezing and frostbite status effects to enemies. The cold tree has a skill called "snow shield" which makes some of the damage you take come from your MP pool, instead of your HP pool. This skill is very useful to INT players, though some STRs use it too. The nuke in this tree is the weakest of all nukes, but also has the ability to give freezing/frostbite status to enemies. The second book have the ability to hit up to 5 monsters at a time. Its passive skill increases physical defence. Because of it's snow shield and physical defence boosting, it is considered mainly an INT tree. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Lightning - The mastery which lets you control the lightning
"element". The lightning imbue allows for you to shock your enemy, which lowers your enemy's parry ratio, allowing you to hit higher. The lightning imbue is the second strongest of all imbues. The lightning tree has skills which increase magical damage and parry ratio. It also has another magical attack in addition to the nuke which is learned later. Lightning is considered one of the most essential trees for all chinese builds, because it also has a skill which increases the characters speed. This is one of the most useful skills because it increases your speed of grinding, and allows you to run away from monsters who are too powerful for you, and players who are too powerful for you and are trying to kill you. It also allows for you to chase players you want to kill and who are running away from you. In this skill line, there is also a skill which allows you to "teleport" a certain distance, which is very useful for taking enemies by storm, and for catching up to retreating enemies. It's also considered very important because of the parry increase, which allows you to take minimal damage, and because of the magical damage increase, allowing you to do the maximum amount of damage. The Lightning nuke is one of the strongest nukes in the game. It is very powerful, with a very high damage range. It's able to hit up to three monsters at once. It's passive skill increases parry ratio. Because of it's magical damage boosting and parry ratio increasing, it is considered mainly an INT tree. However, it is also considered essential to STR trees, and it is highly recommended to get this skill tree no matter what your build. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Fire - The mastery which lets you control the fire "element". The
fire imbue allows you to burn your enemy, which causes DoT, allowing you to kill monsters faster, especially party monsters and giants. The fire imbue is the strongest of all imbues. The fire tree has skills which increase physical damage and magical defence. As well as a skill which decreases the effect of status effects. Fire has a skill which allows you to see stealthed enemies. The fire nukes are the strongest nukes in the game, though technically lightning nukes can do more damage. Fire nukes are good because of their strength, and more than one is able to be used at a given level. For instance, at level 60, only one lightning nuke will be very strong. At level 60, 3 fire nukes will be very strong. It's passive skill increases physical damage. Because of it's physical damage boosting and magical defence increasing, it is considered mainly a STR tree. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Force - The mastery which lets you control the ability of healing.
There is no force imbue. Most of the force tree's skills are used for healing yourself and other players. However, there is also a skill line known as "Vital spot", which is a skill line which is devoted to debuffing the enemy. Because of the vital spot line, many people have begun to believe force to be a very useful tree, whereas before it was considered useless. This tree can be either a STR or INT tree, because there are no skills which favors one build over the other.
_______________________ European2.2*2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are six masteries that a European character can learn: *Note* When I refer to how strong a skill is in this section, it is comparing it to the strength of other European skills, not Chinese skills. - Warrior - The mastery which allows you to become the tank of the
party. Warriors have three different types of weapons, and two different types of armor. Warriors are able to use a one handed sword, which allows them to use a shield. When using a one handed sword, you do the lowest damage of all european classes, however, you also have the best defence. Warriors are also able to use a two handed sword, which is the strongest weapon a warrior can use. The last weapon a warrior can use is the dual axe. Dual axes have medium defence, and medium strength. Warrior's main use in a party is to take damage so that the damage dealers are safe. Warriors are able to abuse the power of aggro, so even though they do less damage than the other members of the party, the monster still attacks the warrior. Warriors have very high hitpoints, and have special moves which sacrifice a 10% of the warrior's total HP to deal a deadly blow or unleash a devastating chain. The two handed sword has a very powerful HP consuming move, which is able to kill most enemies in a single blow. Two handed swords are also able to knockdown enemies and knock them back as well. Dual axes are able to stun and have a passive which lets them become more immune to status effects. Dual axes also have a defence buff which passively increases their physical defence. One handed swords have very high defence, with a passive which also increases their physical defence. They are able to knockback enemies and slow them down. Warriors are able to wear heavy armor, and light armor. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rogue - The mastery which allows you to be the most versatile European
character. The rogue doesn't have an official spot in a party, though they are often damage dealers. Rogues are able to use two different weapons, daggers and crossbows. Crossbows are the only european weapon that does ranged physical damage. Daggers are much weaker than all of the weapons warriors can use, but attack much faster. In addition to attacking faster, rogues also have a skill which decreases defence by 75%, but increases offence by 75%. This skill can be used exclusively while holding daggers, and if you switch weapons, the buff is canceled. When using a crossbow, there is a buff which cuts down physical defence by 40% and total HP by 50%, but raises attack by 75%. Both of these buffs also increase physical attack by a set amount, in addition to the % bonus. Rogues have a skill which allows them to go invisible for a set period of time, called "Stealth". Though they become invisible, rogues using this skill also suffer a large speed decrease. Though in general, daggers are weaker than warriors, daggers have an attack called "Prick" which is one of the strongest physical attacks in game. Because of this skill, and their damage boosting buff (Dagger Desperate), and the fact that while using dagger skills in stealth mode, damage is boosted, rogues are often considered a sort of assassin, and are very dangerous in PvP. Crossbows are also very powerful in PvP, but their strongest skill is not as strong as Prick, and they get no damage bonus for being in stealth. Rogues have very high criticals, and hit them often. Rogues are also able to cause DoT. Rogues are able to wear only light armor. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Wizard - The mastery which allows you to become one of the main damage
dealers in the party. They are only able to use one weapon, the staff. Though they are only able to use one type of weapon, they are extremely powerful. Wizards are able to control all four "elements", Earth, Fire, Ice, and Lightning. All of these skill lines are able to be learned, but it costs alot of SP, which may pose a problem for some players (explained further in SP farming). All of wizard's attacks are very powerful, and they have a few buffs to increase defence for a period of time, increase attack (at a cost of HP), and teleport (much like the Chinese skill). Wizards are the highest hitting class in the game, out of both Chinese and European classes (Unless a rogue with full buffs hits a crit, but I'm referring to average damage). Wizards are able to cause many types of status effects to help aid them in battle, they also have alot of AoE attacks, which helps them in party grinding. Wizards are only able to wear garments. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Warlock - The mastery which allows you to become one of the main damage
dealers in the party. They are only able to use one weapon, the warlock rod. Like the wizard, though they only have once choice of weapon, they are extremely powerful. Unlike the wizard however, they are able to use a shield. Though wizards hit the highest average damage with each attack, warlock do the most damage per second to monsters. This is because warlocks have alot of attacks that do DoT. These attacks in turn are able to give status effects which give additional DoT. In addition to these attacks, warlocks also make great use of debuffs, lowering enemy's attack, defence, parry ratio, and other things which gives the warlock a great advantage in battle. Warlocks, though having very low HP, are able to solo monsters with great ease. Though warlocks have alot of attacks that do DoT, they are lacking in a powerful single hit attack. Because of this, some people do not like warlocks because they have a slower kill-rate than Wizards. Though some people like warlocks for the many different types of attacks, and the lack of dying. Warlocks are only able to wear garments. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Cleric - The mastery which allows you to become the healer of the party.
They are only able to use one weapon, the cleric rod. Clerics are not very powerful, though they do have the highest hitting attack in the game called "Offering" (Or later "Pure Offering") which sacrifices 95% of your total HP to unleash the most deadly attack in the game. Besides this attack however, clerics have no other very powerful attacks. Their one hit attacks are even weaker than that of warlocks. Though they are not so powerful on their own, they are able to heal, buff, and resurrect party members which makes them essential to parties, due to their power increasing capabilities, and most importantly, their healing ability. Since Europeans have such a large potion use delay, the healing clerics offer is almost essential. In almost any European party, the member's will want a cleric. Making one of these will be very good for grinding, however fighting other players becomes difficult due to the lack of powerful attacks. Of course, you are able to have more than one mastery tree, so you can use this one for grinding, and another for fighting players. Clerics are able to solo with mild efficiency, they do not have to use any HP potions because they are able to just heal themselves. Though they may be able to heal themselves and use few HP pots, they have a slow grinding speed. Clerics are able to use either garments or protector. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Bard - The mastery which allows you to become the main buffer of the party.
They are only able to use one weapon, the harp. Bards are not very powerful, however they have one attack which does considerable damage, although this attack has a long reuse delay. When a player equips a harp, their total mana pool is increased, allowing them to use more skills without having to use a mana potion. Bards are able to increase the speed of the entire party they are in, as well as recover all of the member's MP, so no mana potions have to be used. In addition to increasing speed and saving mana potions, bards are also able to increase party defence, party attack, and other benefits. Bards, even though they are very good, are rather under appreciated in the game of SRO. Though being under appreciated, they are still wanted in parties, however, if a party would have to choose between either a bard or a warrior, they would probably choose the warrior, even if the party already has a warrior. Bards are able to solo grind with mild efficiency, though they might get often, and will have to use HP pots. When solo grinding, bards will not have to bring MP potions with them because they are able to recovery their own MP on their own. Bards are able to use either garments or protector. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
_______________________ Choosing Your Build2.3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the game of SRO, there are 2 main builds. Strength builds and intelligence builds. Though these are the two main builds, there are also hybrid builds, which don't add only strength or intelligence, but add some of both. Strength builds have high HP and criticals. Intelligence builds have high MP and magical attacks. Hybrids have medium HP and medium criticals and attacks. In the following sections, builds will be rated in 5 different ways. Like a good book though, builds don't always have to follow the guidelines to be fun and powerful. So just because a build gets a good rating, doesn't mean it's going to be very good. The ratings are there more for statistical reasons. _______________________ Strength2.3*1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rating: HP: ***** MP * Damage: ***+* Defence: **** Leveling: ** Total: 15+1 *'s This build, most often referred to as "Pure Str(ength)" is probably the most common of all builds in sro, and for good reason. Pure strength players have the highest hitpoints in the entire game, the highest physical defence, the highest physical attack, and the highest criticals in the game. The way the game works is for every STR point added, it increases your HP by a formulated amount. The more STR points you have, the more HP each str point is worth. This means, with high amounts of STR, your hitpoints will hightened by an exponential amount. STR also increases physical balance. Balance in the game of SRO is very important, though nobody is really sure EXACTLY how it works. Basicly, the higher your physical balance, the higher your physical attacks, and defence. Physical attacks are weaker than magical attacks generally, however, if you hit a critical, your physical damage is doubled! Criticals are very powerful, and can often overwhelm an opponent. Chinese strength builds will commonly wear garments, because garments have higher magical defence, which STR builds are lacking. Garments ALSO give a 20% MP reduction cost when using skills, AND a 20% speed bonus. However, European warriors and rogues (STR builds) have to wear a type of armor, unless they also master in one of the other four classes. Of course, Chinese characters can wear heavy armor or light armor if they want to as well. But garments are most common. STR characters level up at a medium speed, and do not die very often at all. They are able to hold their own in a battle against a higher level monster, because they are not as easily overwhelmed as INT builds are. In PVP, they are able to be hit by a considerably higher level player and still survive, and maybe even manage to run away. _______________________ Intelligence2.3*2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rating: HP: * MP: ***** Damage: ***** Defence: *** Leveling: ***** Total: 19 *'s This build, most often referred to as "Pure Int(elligence)" is the other most common build in SRO. Pure INT players have the highest MP in game, as well as the highest constant damage. They have the highest magical defence, and highest magical attack as well. Pure INT players are very fast at leveling because they are often able to one-hit-kill monsters at their level. Though they are able to kill very fast, they have low HP, and low physical defence. Most monsters in the game of SRO attack physically, so INT players die much more easily than STR players do. INT players are often told to wear armor, and for good reason, they need the extra physical defence to compensate for their shortcomings. HOWEVER, armor does not come with MP saving bonuses, OR speed bonuses. So often times INT players will wear garments, at the cost of physical defence. This is a main reason why STR builds are more popular, they are more well rounded. INT builds are able to do very high amounts of damage, so they are good for taking down lower levels en masse, and are able to pack a heavy punch against their own level. INT players will use magical attacks as their main way of attacking to reach their highest desired damage. For Chinese and wizards, this is achieved through "nuking". Other European builds have other magical attacks to pack their punch. _______________________ Hybrid2.3*3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rating: HP: *** MP: *** Damage: ** Defence: ***** Leveling: *** Total: 16 *'s This build is a very unpopular one. Often times people will make a first character and it will be a hybrid, and they will quit it because they are told that hybrids suck. Is this true? Well, there are many opinions on it, my opinion is that hybrids can be very good, but if you plan to stay to the end of the game, a Pure build will work better. The game was just made that way. ESPECIALLY European characters. A European character should not be a hybrid, some people will tell you to, and there is some justification behind it, but staying pure has better benefits. Putting aside European characters, Chinese characters can have some benefits from going hybrid. They have a more even distribution of HP and MP, instead of having all and none, they have some and some. Their damage is often times weaker than a pure build's however, because by adding some INT and some STR, their physical and magical balances go down by alot, and physical and magical balance is where most damage comes from. However, by sacrificing damage, they gain alot of defence. Hybrids have some of the highest defence in the game, and if they wear protector, then they are well suited for almost any occation. However, since they still only have a medium amount of HP, they are still able to be killed. Hybrids are a subject of much dispute, but my advice to you: Stay pure, hybrids are more for experimentation, and remember: Once you (or your character) goes hybrid, you can't go back, however, if you stay pure, you can always switch later. -This is just beta version. If you find any mistakes, inform me please and they will be fixed soon-

Just wanted to warn y'all hahaha looking at the future too soon? Good luck with all the typing (maybe you copy-paste a few stuff but you'll have to type a lot anyway). The only downside is, if you do this, there'll be no need for this section anymore (until sro gets updated... but i don't know how much time it will take).

Rainagul wrote: Tell me if you need any help with anything. 'Course dude. @SC I'm honored you posted in my guide Haha, mr PK2 god. It has ALMOST everything, the unmentionables are mentioned, but they're not explained, if that makes any sense. It will make allusions to the fact there are other versions of SRO and you can get accounts for them, and it'll mention bots (of course). It will NOT tell you how to get them or anything else though. It does have PK2 information though. @Hyo Haha, another godly person lol. You left some time ago and I'm glad you came back. On topic though, yeah, it'll be released in a week HOPEFULLY. It's about 15% done now. Hehe, though it will be complete, I fear that it won't be very understandable :S No, I'm not copying and pasting anything, it's written entirely from scratch. And though it's complete and has everything, some guides will go more in depth about certain builds, and will have different opinions, and of course PK2 guides. I only really mention it and say where to get some essential PK2 equipment (hexedit, extractpk2 etc) and how to do simple stuff, for I'm not good at it at all myself @cin Yeah, hopefully it will be great. Do you mind proof-reading it before I release it? Beware though, it's longer than shit, you'll probably get bored reading it, lol. Just try and make sure everything makes sense please, thanks Hehe, I will race foudre to the finish! @XMoshe Yeah, it's gonna be a shit load of reading (as I said before). It has a table of contents though so you can skip to the section you want to read. Yup Gonna start working on it again later today, gonna lurk around for a bit though.

Wow I look forward to it. While many of the guides out there appeal to people who have scratched the surface of the game, this can actually help people to scratch the surface and beyond. May also help people choose a build they will like, which is another thing that a lot of people (including me) have changed again and again. I think it'll be a very useful guide, and good luck!

ya i thought about it ever since i saw that one really fancy warlock/cleric guide, if you have seen you'd think of the one i'm thinking of, i tried searching for it but i couldn't find it, it was basicly like a game guide look to it, with the images and a background. Only a while ago i actually felt like investing the time to make it

Hey foudre, if you're really serious about doing this guide, wanna collaborate with me and cin (I'm still waiting for his approval though, but I'm sure he'll say yes)? If so, cool This is a big thing to handle on our own. @Rainagul Wanna do the artwork for it? This guide might be too big to make into a picture, but if it's not, wanna make the background? And of course you can contribute too if you can be assed

You could take a look at fena/Manowar's blader guide for a good layout. It's really long as well but not so tiring to read Maybe you could use something similar.

Party's are mentioned, but most party guides out there are biased or too specific, or not working or something like that. I say what role in the party certain builds will take, but I don't say how to work together... That's to find out yourself, because party's aren't exactly a one size fits all.

A complete guide? That's insane. I was thinking of making a compilation of the guides here on SRF (authored by SRF members ) and just jam all of them in a PDF file - with cool pics of course. It would be Silkroad Online's Unofficial PRIMA Guide. xD

so you're planning to copy and paste all the other guides together and call it your work? btw, you might want to consider putting a copy on gamefaqs cause most people go there for guides before starting a game most of the guides on gamefaq bout silkroad is outdated or useless

Only problem is that you have to update the stuff you finish if new updates come, so this guide will have to be updated a lot... Otherwise it isn't worth making it, for it only lasting a year or so!

It would be a full collaborated SRO guide.

Instead of having a thread with all this info to scroll through and read.. it would be lovely to create a website that could easily be navigated. I often wished for that myself when I first started playing and the old sro website was so buggy! It's not as bad now but the english is horrible and not well detailed. Anyways, good luck with the guide and looking forward to it

[SW]XMoshe wrote: What are all those shortcuts after the names etc? O_o If we choose to have the guide on SRF, basically what you can do to find stuff is like this: For instance: Section 14: PvP (HGF) Now you can do Control+F and Type in (HGF) and it will search the page for that Word and then scroll the page down to that section. Thus making finding stuff really easy. And yeah i already suggested the website thing to rainigul, we might go with that if it makes things easy. I already started making some work on designing some pages^^
