First of all, i use for this guide Konpakus site, i hope he wont be offended with this:)
http://www.konpaku.com.br/default.asp
Read the site, browse it, very usefull and resourcefull for every1.

Why full int and why bow?
If you look at any weapon, you will see the magical attack of the weapon is higher as the physical and in cases like this(bow), the magical attack power of the weapon is slightly higher than the swords attack power.
Compare the stats pls:
Sword: http://www.konpaku.com.br/equip.asp?Regiao=ch&Tipo=ataque&item=1001&degree=8&especial=normal
Bow:
http://www.konpaku.com.br/equip.asp?Regiao=ch&Tipo=ataque&item=1005&degree=8&especial=normal
As you'll see, the magical damage of the bows has higher maximum and reinfoce rate too.
If you compare the 2 stats(physical and magical) even though the sword will have relative more mag dmg compared to physical, the overall dmg of the bow is like +5-6% higher, thus, you have the 18m base attack range but the point is you will have minimum +70% damage on the magical side compared to physical. This includes that as a full int your damage will be +50-70% more compared to an average full str build, and thats the base attack power only and as full int. The reinforce rate of your weapon is +70-80% more too compared to the physical, so on later lvls your damage will be more and more compared to full str builds.

Altough most ppl say bow is a hybrid or str weapon coz of crits, i think bow damage reaches its full potential only in full int hands.
Thus as a full int, practicaly every and each skill of yours is a nuke.
A nuke that can crit! As a bowman/woman you will have lots of crits and why is it usefull to you even you are full int? Your crits will give you +20-30% extra damage on top of high average damage output and with that +20-30% damage crits will overcome even the full str bow crits in terms of damage.
This buid unifies the strengts of full int builds and the range+many crits+maximised damage of the bow.(Weaknesses too, beware!)
The bow:
- Bow has superior range
http://www.konpaku.com.br/skill.asp?hab ... serie=2594
- Skills with awesome damage multipliers
http://www.konpaku.com.br/skill.asp?hab ... serie=2596
http://www.konpaku.com.br/skill.asp?hab ... serie=2595
As in early or on late lvl's
- Crit increases, attack rating buffs and passives
http://www.konpaku.com.br/skill.asp?hab ... serie=2592
http://www.konpaku.com.br/skill.asp?hab ... serie=2599
- Even AoE attacks, but those skills will be usefull on late lvl's only.
- Multiple target attacking skill: mind bow series.(important)
Nukes are your finishing moves. They are as important as your bow skills.
- AoE attacks... as you will see, you will need them badly..
- Mag attack increasing buffs
- Even more AoE attacks
- Even more damage you cause with them
I cant describe the possibilities you have with nukes and bow skills.
You'll have a vast arsenal of high dmg % AoE and point damage skills and you can cause in most situations mayhem and destruction on your lvl.

An other wiewpoint is, you are a Nuker basicaly, so you can use a spear for example. I wont say a bow would compete with spear, but has more range(almost the double) and faster skills. Use spear only in highly crowded(with mobs) areas and bow in areas with low spawnrate or places where multiple bots ksing you(or real retards).

If you are a full int, you will find this build usefull i think.
Its fun, it lvls as fast as lightning and is powerfull. You wont believe it, but it is. It has real power if you learn to use its potentials. Versatile and not boring may i add:)

My skills will look like this:
80pacheon/80ice/80light+60something else(fire atm)
Im farming right now, but later ill update this guide to show real results of this build.
========================================================

Second part:
As you had or will learn, equipment is important.
This build has serius disadvantages as in defense or low hp.
You will need serius preparations to get as much gold as possible. So, you have to learn how to manage stalling.
My advice is, stall afk, coz you will be crazy after several hours of stalling. Go and learn, cook, do anyhing else you want to do.
Sleep for example.
After you learn how to make gold easily, you wont suffer in terms of equipment. And as i say equipment, im thinking on d8 sos/som gear.

UPDATE1
Im farming atm(with lvl9 gap i need probably a +9bow to 1hit everything) 380k sp more to go >_<

Just a sidenote. Crit increase isn't worth anything for a pure int.

After your first alinea I stopped reading...Maybe do bows have 5-6% more dmg...but a sword can be equipped with a shield..

Pure int and bow is a no no...always =/

I think this build deserves a closer analysis!

Good point made about using the advantage of the distance. If bow has range, why worry about the high HP. (I'm not saying it's not important, but same idea as pure INT nukers)

However, bow uses a lot of PHY moves, and wouldn't going pure INT reduce the power of those moves? Would the resulting mag reinforcements from going pure INT (like, stronger imbue power and stonger mag. attack power) do more dmg than going STR?

Although I say bows are better with STR builds I'm not going to say a int bow sucks.
Since I never tried it i can't give an opinion about an int bow.
1 thing what really is a con and I think I have to say that is;
your full int means no hp, s/s nuker have a shield to safe your life.
spear nuker have the heuksal passives what means more hp.
bow has nothing like that what is really a con.

Í really want to know more about this build so tell me how it is some times when you lvl'ed up.

actually clover I think you are wrong xD ive seen a lvl 77 full armor set +5 or higher full int bow vs a lvl 80 full garms str glaive with +5 gear also the str glaive of course can kill the full int bow but the bow can also kill the glaive char with crit 16k to be precise without sos even vs a lvl 80 blader the full int bow on my server crit him for 12k lol 9k nukes fire/light bow for 80 cap

Pft, if you do 10k without crit with pure int, you'll barely do 11k with a crit

Bow pure int isnt worth it, you sacrifice the shield from the sword as well, and if you really want to sacrifice the shield, take a spear since it has higher mag dmg and more skills that can stop an opponnent

You can't use it all the time and it won't kill your opponent either

Build a int bow with pacheon @ lv 31 just to have strongbow. Since your phy dmg us extremely low so u dont need high lvl strongbow and waste mastery. Then try to pvp with bow then spear and compare.
It's ok to keep bow if your strongbow is higher than nuke (300%) otherwise change to spear.

it isnt just the 300% though... bow and nukes have 300-350% attacks, is just nukes are like 500-900 while bows are 200-500 so bow always does less damage by about half unless on crits

The point is not the power written in the tooltip, but Strongbow has +350% and cast time is only 2.5s + 8m far range!!!

Exactly...
And as your opponent closing in, you can use a lot of skills:
lion shout+light nuke+any other+arrow combos.
phantom away and such.
And str-bow has only 1.5sec setup time and BANG.
Berserker arrow has the 2.5sec.

To all:
Its true, the bow skills are physical, butt... the attack power of the skills does not add only to the phys part, it does add to the mag attack too like this:
(base attack+skill)*dmg%*magballance = full damage
As i wrote, all skills of a full int bow are practicaly nukes+ you got a small percent of physical damage too+range. ALOT of range.
More as twice as nukes. And, if you got a backset in defense, range is important...:)

EDIT: i can ks even fullfarmed lvl72+ players with my str bow. He/she begins the great über skill(like meteor or a light nuke), but that has more than 2sec setup, while i hve double range+at least 0.5 sec shorter setup. *insert evil smile*
pvp: same as before. My skills are faster than others. My only true opponent is the full str blader. Rly hard to kill and i have low phys defense right now(im farming in garments >_<)

IMO, pure int lightning bows at cap are going to be really good. Snipers which can keep their range as an advantage.

They wouldn't be so good normally, but all other builds without light will be slow, and won't have range.

why become a int bow man??? you have horrible def!
a int s/s has there sheild for extra deff and block
a int spear has there hp boost
a int bow may hit hard but !die easly! unless u only fight when your snow sheild is ready -.-

at higher lvl people have phantom over 15m....
they'll be right in your face whle ur casting lighting nuke....

the csro players had something similar, which i tried on psro,

the dmg at lvl 2x so just so pathetic that it wasn't even funny, my pure str archer was a better choice

Then you did something wrong...
Usually in pvp i was attacked mostly by lvl42+ chars altough i was lvl37+lvl9 gap

I could even tank at lvl37/lvl9gap, pretty good even:)
lowlvl farming gear(except the sun bow) is not a big deal to get, just have a bit patience and you are set.

EDIT:
At higher lvls you switch from fire to light imbue coz the splash damage and believe me, for me every mob up to lvl78 is 2 skill.
And with a better protector set, i can tank full str glaives too.
And after ill be full farmed, i can start to own in jobwars too.

Depends, i use protector since i prefer protector over garment, but garment helps you against mag attack mobs (i just evade mag attack mobs and go for the phy attack ones)

12 from 720k sp mine now.

EDIT: i have 200 already :/

int is always better at pve... mobs dont pot hp back

70:70 is bit better at pvp since they dont die in 1 hit crits as often
but int is more fun imo

right, except for a 9k anti-devil missile i can do 11k with a crit, whats wrong with free dmg?

int bow is basically nukes with a lot of improvements:
-> take less time to launch, longer range than nukes
-> has the same/more damage as nukes!!!!
-> ability to knock back (11x30% = 330% chance of knocking back using 5/6arrow combo)
-> ability to spam knock back (separate cool down for 5/6 arrow combo)
-> ability to stun (30% on lvl98 strongbow)

this build has more damage output than chinese pure int nukers, since the arrow skills take less time to launch
with 100 cap coming, most chinese nukers do not have fire shield, that means no ice immunity, with ice imbue, pure int bow can easily rape anything that does not have 100% ice immunity, imagine 5/6 arrow combo spams with kb and frostbite/freezing, with damage similar to nukes

im 87 w/9gap, compared to a 87 str bow w/0gap, i do exactly 2x the damage as him, if he crits its about the same.
*btw, he also has prem+, which i do not have, and i am using ice imbue, which is lower dmg than my lightning imbue.

IMO Int bow is pretty good. And No peoples, bow does NOT rely on crits. A pure int doesn't even need to crit to out damage a pure str.
