9D bard > 9D nuker in any term. Just take for example, power level at ongs. I've been levelling with my 77 nuker, then a 9D bard came. What happened? He was doing huger damage than I did, but that's not enough. He was hitting twice before my nuke even finished.
Bards are really underestimated, this was just an example of my own experience I made in the past days. >_<

Can i always be fully farm bard with 0 gap all the way to lvl 100? or do i have to farm some Sp?cuz you said bards with all usefull skill max to lvl 80 only need about 120k of SP or something like that and if u check 0 gap to lvl 80 u make around 130k or 180k SP so do Bard have to farm Yes or No. nothing els no ub no nothing Bard pure Bard. with only the skill the are usefull.

I 0 gapped to 90, by the time 100 comes out, I'll have enough sp for it. Unless I decide to get a sub.

Info : Zanthra on Venus just got his harp (+93% magical and +61% magical reinforce) to +7 with the help from Spanktastik. He now hold the best non-sox harp on SRO. Gratz to him.

Why shouldnt I be jealous? I had a +7 harp before. I know how good it was. Every battle bard wants that kinda harp. If you were me, u would know how i felt.

Ty Guardia for mention my harp here in your guide, that's honor for me , I was very happy when you had your +7 harp before and was very bad news you lost it, I'm so sorry for that that's my harp : btw I think u didn't make last updates here, we had Two awesome parties on 2 days on row when me and you played as Battle bards , orbit was covering MP for whole party and we ahd enough time nuking, I rememebr we went Shaitan late and there were 2 bots parties and 1 other legit party and even we ksed them all with our added Damage [URL=http://g.imageshack.us/img145/sro2008102821125897wc4.jpg/1/][IMG 2 battle bards party is the most leet party ever , it's kinda something new as there weren't enough 9X battle bards on venus before, we made a record of killing PTG in 25 sec only although we had no warlock !!!! Beacuse of the awesome speed of killing we had a lack of mobs to kill, so we had to get donkyle (A rogue) to lure more for us , exp was crazy , i got 30% at lvl 89 without any tickets or premuim and lvled to 90 in 2 parties with Guardia in 2 days !! You said you have captured a vedio of these parties , I hope you upload them and let the world see them ^^ Cya in-game my beloved Guardia <33 EDIT : to give everybody his credit, Me and AngelEyes used to bard with each other many times on the way to 90 , early days when I were lvl 79 gap 9 farming I used to MC whole party letting him go pure battle bard , then when I cosed gap and went to 8X we were spilt party between us and we both go semi battle bards was the most crazy thing to MC 2 ppl + Battle bard + keep tambours up , was also much fun but not effective as barding at 90 with orbit , <3 you Angel too the point before getting orbit is, keep ppl MP is so easy even with gap 9 and normal harp, you not need 2 bards for MP, make just 1 take care of Mp and other take care of nuking , we implemented this later after a long joureny of spilt party between 2 bards for MP , our current bards in chasers now already doing this, also some meduim lvls bards going same way , these new guys gonna be awesome bards in future , just give them the time and sp ^^

Finally, Zanthra showing his face here. I got so many things to update but I've been so busy with work and in game thingies. Things we bards in Venus have changed / proved :- 1. MP consumptions in an active pt - There is no way a cleric and wizards can survive without bard(s) in party since the mp consumption is so high at higher lvls. To others from other server who said they manage to party without bard(s) is completely bull. They either dont have the real experience in an active party like we did in Venus or they're slacking by using the low mp consumption skill for example frozen spear as their 4th attacks. 2. The importance of Tambours - At lvl 90, the max tambour will give 41% dmg absorb from either physical or magical depending on which tambour is up. 41% is a huge number, this is the secrect of a successful party. 3. The importance of Dance(s) - At lvl 90, the max wizardry dance lvl 2 will give extra 38% dmg for magical attacks. This is the key to a deadly party in terms on grinding or group pvp / wars etc. 4. The importance of dmg support by 1 battle bard in pt - With fast attacks and low aggro, 1 battle bard can make a different in a party in terms on dps / overall dmg. This will contribute to faster killing rate. If both of the bards lower than 90, the initial tambour caster is recommended to be a full support bard since we dont want him to get attacked and making the tambour (and dance) go down. The second bard will be a full battle bard for extra dmg to the party. If there's 1 lvl 90 bard in the pt, same things applied but the first bard cant offer much to the party except maintaining the tambour status. Still, i would recommend the first bard to take 2 person to cycle and the lvl 90 bard use mana orbit when possible. The first bard can also nuke but it's such a hassle when their tambour is down. Communication between both bards must be good so they can remind on each other regarding tambour and dance status. (We used this setup before because we have low numbers of lvl 90 bards). 5. The owesomeness of dmg support from 2 battle bards in the same pt - The new era of bards. 1 battle bard can do wonders for party. But how about 2 battle bards? With both have max tambours and dance and both are attacking, the overall damage of the party is at its highest since 7 out of 8 ppl in the party are attacking / contributing to pt dmg. Ppl might not realize it but it made a huge different. We had this setup as Zantra mentioned in the previous post. It was too owesome. The killing rate is so high and it is crazy. I really hope u guys can experience this setup for urself. One little annoying thing with this setup is, since both bards attacking, the probability of the initial tambour will go down is high. It's because bards will get hit more often. Zanthra and me found a solution to minimize this problem. Put protect on the bard who cast the initial tambour. This will minimize the possibility of the particular bard to get hit by mobs. All the wizards and (or) warlock in the party will be fully buffed, they shouldnt be scared to get hit since the killing rate is so high and the dmg they took are low. Of course there's still a slight chances the initial tambour will go down, but it is still very useful. Gratz to all who choose to be a bard. U're in the right direction of being the key element to a great party. I will include this info into the guide soon. Have fun!

Finally got to Battle Bard with another 90 Bard, Zanthra, OMG, that was awesome! The kill ratio in a party was incredible. It got to the point even with another rogue luring, we were still standing around waiting for mobs to get brought back b/c we killed them so fast. And Zanthra is good, so even tho tambs would drop from getting hit sometimes that dance and tamb was back up lightening fast. It helps when both bards are attacking, it keeps their mind in game and from going afk-barding so they notice when dance goes down right away. Next time I get Zan in a party with me I'll Fraps it. It's always nice to bard with a pro, good job Zan.

Makes me wanna make a battle bard, but in my server we don't do group pvp and Ive seen a 90 FF Sun +7 harp battle bard get owned so easy. Not sure if I should spend my time on that. Been contemplating my European cahracter, since im almost capped on my chinese blader.

Great info there. I'll put up the key points in that discussion into the guide later. Having mana orbit changes everything. It's not all about MP anymore. We're focusing more on damage now.
