What levels are you talking about when you mention pvp...? Some of it seems a bit off, maybe more true in lower lvls or something. I have 2 guildmates that have this build, well ones 80% mag balance and the other is closer to your build. After pvping, jobbing, warring at 90 they both rerolled cuz they don't like their chars. What you said about int s/s isn't true, I'm int s/s and the 80% balance one is really easy for me to kill, and the 70% one takes a bit longer but still will lose more often then not. They can both win but not that often, mostly depend on crit chains.

Ironwall reduces your damage quite a bit. If you ice wall any int with half a brain will phantom away and nuke you and you will sure lose a nuking battle vs pure int. In jobs and wars you can't nuke as hard as ints and they can't tank like strs and they need to be close to do most of their damage and up close they die easy.

I've always wanted to build a char like this as well it seems quite fun, but both the people I've mentioned have been playing for years and they both said this build is weaker then most others, and they regret capping them.

Very good explained guide.
Very good explained pvp tactics.

But... did you actualy made this build and played it,
or is this all just theory?

I don't think that this build will work as good as you
want it to :D

Oh and that fire walls and frost walls, how much hits
can they take? I haven't allocated any SP in them yet,
so I'm wondering if it is realy worth it.

Played the build, enjoyed it, took a break for school so I couldn't cap it early. Wasn't going to make a guide until after capping but I got impatient and said screw it. I never used Fire wall or Ice wall. Only good in 1v1. Venus is home of the "cluster fuck" :banghead:

@jtryp, I would like to see your friends pvping. They should be winning a little bit more than losing.

A lot of your complaint's seem trivial and can easily be overcome.

Fan storm reduces your damage quite a bit. I play on Venus. I have to work with what I got and on Venus most ints don't have half a brain. This build isn't meant to stand there and nuke. =] Well it is a 69:70 int spear, It's supposed to attack up close. These are small complaints that can be overlooked. Every build has it's weakness. Last thing though: How did they pvp? Did they follow my survival tactics? This build requires more brain than brawn.

@The champion, warlock stun doesn't remove walls. =]

Yah they've been around since 60 cap so they're both pretty good. I agree with the "balanced" claim they could kill any type, pure int, str, hybrids, but they ended up losing more often to them then winning even though they could win as well if that makes sense? like a 70% lose ratio vs good pure str or ints. s/s keeps them on their back so long that there dps doesn't matter that much compared to a pure strs pure burst of 2 crits in a row that will instantly drop any int. On str they fare a bit better but again if he gets couple crits they would die too. I think their biggest problem with the build was wars tho... it's more of a solo build, because in a group pvp they can't tank like pure str or dmg like pure int.

pure str just survive cause of high crits, imo hybrids are made to constantly do pretty much damage, instead of waiting for those 1/2/3 big crits.. and pure INT's just gotta have v good gear to do as much damage as they can while on snowshield so in 2 min

This is right but the problem with dps is one knockdown, stun, knock back, ect and your damage is all potted back to full. Int's have a similar problem with str chars that have a ton of hp, lucky stun or kd gives the str time to pot back up to full, while for str chars 2-3 well timed crits and your opponent is dead with no chance to pot.

Also Barotix- the guy with the 80% spear sold his char, not sure what the one with the build closer to yours did with his char. He might still have it or a friend playing it, I'll ask next time I talk to him.

why is my magical ballance in game different than
when i calculate it at nivlams page?

if i put same amount of str and int i get different magical balance and
health than at game.

no not from warlocks smartass, only warriors can do it with stun.

Yes I took it all off.

But even if I wouldnt and I would enter same str and int
in nivlams calculator as i have under character stats
shouldnt I get the same mag and phy balance?
Does premiums magical absorbtion percents and others,
affect on my balance?

Who are you talking to?

If you didnt see in my post I asked if premiums +5% stats affect on my balance.
That means that I am aware of the extra stats I am given with premium gold.
And I am asking if magical absorbtion and such affect my ballance or does
only str and int affect my balance...

I searched through the forum and there I found only 3 different int hybrid
1:5, 1:7 and this 69:70. Does this mean all others are not good?

I wanted to get as close as possible to this build but I'm going
to have 80 magical balance because I was pure int till lvl 80 and that would mean
that my hybrid will be 1:3.

What do you think? Should I go for 1:3 or should I go for 1:5?

1:5 is a reliable hybrid spear. I don't have experience with 1:3 and I don't think anyone on this forum has a 1:3 spear so as to to not jeopardize your build (unless you want to be the first 1:3 hybrid) go 1:5.

what do you mean it isn't 1:3?

I made it in Nivlams stats program that I have 80% magical and 63% physical balance
and I got:
str: 173 - 109 = 64
int: 312 - 109 = 203

then 203/64 = 3,17 and that's approximately 3 so that means 1:3...
Or am I calculating wrong?

If I delevel my char what happens to stat points?
Do they drop with lvl or do they stay the same?

So if I do make a bad decision with 1:3 can I delevel at lvl 90 by 5 lvls or maybe a little more
and when I lvl back up put all stat points in int to achieve 1:5 build?

there's nothing wrong with a 80% int hybrid :roll:

amazing guide and very interesting build barotix.

i have a few questions.

1. where it says "When you finish:" there are maxed heuksal skills and fire nuke, but i also see a lightning nuke. why get light nukes if your only maxing it at 60?


2. i have a spear char right now, 7:1 lvl 33. is there a good balance between 7:1 and 69:70 that still deals nice damage with nukes?


3. also, if i do go between this build and 7:1, will i still be able to go 90:90:60:60?
