Perhaps it's the same reasons that professional IT security personnel might visit illegal hacker websites. One good way to learn about and protect against hacking exploits is to learn about them from the source.

Pretty much, yeah. You understand Exposed Botters is for "Exposing" botters. That normally involves some investigation. Looking at what websites people go on is one of the main ways to know what someone is like (investigating). If your against people doing that then maybe you shouldnt be commenting either.

...thats rather ignorant. you litterally cant moniter anyones actions. i can go to every single botting website right now and make a ss of some random poster with a coincedental nick. does that mean im a botter? on top of that, the only way to know what those websites are is to have visited them yourself, therefore making your whole debate hypocritical from the start. the websites one visits arent anyones business, and if they are "bad" sites, and you know what they are, clearly YOU HAVE BEEN THERE TOO. there is nothing in that SS that indicates what website that is, but you knew now didnt you. hmmm maybe that superficial amount of "evidence" is enough to accuse several people in this thread of botting. i, of course, say this in jest as it is purely ignorant. just as ignorant as what you said previously.

maybe im missing something. lemme do a small recap and you fill me in on what im missing
DrFantasy made a very very superficial accusation based off of another gaming site.
then the good doc got told off for excersizing his will to surf the internet as he sees fit.
i question the the authority to moniter other peoples websurfing, then im told im wrong for doing so.
what am i missing?

what am i missing? This is EB! EB is where all the accusations happen. If you question people's authority to monitor what other people are viewing, then maybe you should be questioning people monitoring what other people are doing / using. Therefore EB doesn't seem a very suitable place for you to be commenting, as surely you would be against the idea of such a forum. Besides, anyone with half a brain knows that most people who have proof of people botting here bot themselves anyway.

yeah, i know what eb is. but last i recall, its still wrong to make accusations without real proof. if you use someones websurfing as a basis of accusation than that seems fairly weak, if not entirely void. And again, if someone is able to post a screen shot like that, and you can identify the site you are just as guilty as the accused. I don’t know. Maybe these rules changed secretly within your underground organization. viewtopic.php?f=72&t=79269But last I looked they still apply. But then again, im not very bright. I must be the reason this entire thread is fail from the get go...

Just the simple fact that someone browses a "bad" website does not mean that the person is guilty of doing the "bad" things that the website talks about. Otherwise, I could be accused of currently playing iSRO just because I browse and post in SRF's GD subforum, since that forum is all about iSRO. If someone found me posting in a cooking forum, does that mean that cooking is my hobby? Perhaps I'm just trying to find information about cooking some recipe to pass on to my wife. Now if someone is found posting pro-bot posts in a botting forum, they could be accused of bot support, but not botting itself. Besides, PR0METHEUS on <insert bot forum> isn't necessarily the same as PR0METHEUS on SRF even if the avatar and sig are the same. Best proof is in-game proof, not some screenshot from a "bad" forum.

I could actually prove that he's botting. He's my academy guardian and is botting 24/7. All I have to do is run over to Roc Mountain, go purple on him and post a few screenshots.

Still cant proove that it is slimshady unless he has his cSRO nick in the signature or have posted a screenie in the past showing of his character.
