Arghh, I hate how followers revert to their default bow. So dam annoying. I was looking forward to having my follower use the paralyze bow. Be nice to watch ppl fall down far away, get back up, fall down again.

You can remove their default items via console. I like Lydia wearing her default gear in my home because i don't like her wearind the Ebony armor inside. He can't even drink or eat bread with that helmet.
I found a work-around. For others playing Skyrim on a console, which in turns doesn't let you bring up the console to remove items from followers. Give them a shit-load of iron arrows. Then use an enchanted and pimped forsworn bow. I got aela to finally use the bow now.

Oculory Jocularity? Is there no light shining down? Cos i had the same problem but you can still do it. If you are talkin about this quest do this : - press the middle button 6 times (so the mirror moves 6 positions), the left one 1 time, and the right one 5 times. Then strike the crystal with several short bursts of frost ... this has to be only the novice level attacks ... E.g. It has to be 'Frostbite' or 'Flames' ... a higher destruction spell will not work as it does not focus the lenses. If this wasn't what you were talking about, well...hope it helped someone else at least lol

Hey guys , I'm one of those guys who took an advantage of smithing/enchanting sadly , is anyone else feels there is nothing left to play for when getting the best crafted stuff possible? :/ I haven't even finished half the main storyline so far , but lost any will to continue playing right after i got dragon set and daedric bow
Even used some mods to boost the difficulty like - double Master , enchanted experience and skyrim wars ...
It's just feels like I've lost any meaning of looting , maybe just for a few more coins and arrows nothing else ...
Sadly enough if you're going along the magic route, there's not much better gear to get after you've done the quest for the mages college. Arch mage robes- Marokei (the Nahrkriin mask is pretty good too). It'd be nice if it was possible to enchant stuff better than that. Besides, Dragons generally don't even get a single hit on me because dual-casting attacks staggers them (playing on Expert myself).

Everything staggers with dual casting, if you time the casts right, they'll never touch you. Just the dragons that fly forever and do flybys all the time can be really annoying.

Or just play one or 2 hours every day, so that won't make you level up so high and enjoy the game better >_> seriously, how you can work your skills so high, specially smithing which requires so many materials?
Smithing is the easiest to level up. I made probably at least 400 iron daggers to get my smithing to level 100 LOL. Just go from each of the main towns buying iron ingots to make iron daggers. Don't sell the daggers though make a weapon that captures the souls, and farm up petty/common souls and enchant your shitty daggers to get your enchanting up.

Yeah, but i've got dragonrend for that, so it's not really much of a challenge anymore. I've put quite a lot of time into the game though, so it was sure worth my 40 euros.
Too bad i only started enchanting Iron Daggers with the last set i made that got my smithing to 100. Now i gotta catch up with enchanting.
I used to run around and get loads of tasks everywhere i could(i just didn't want to refuse), but now i haven't talked to NPCs i haven't seen before and i wanna complete my loads of quests. Not many misc tasks are left now. I had loads of them before and it annoyed me.
Now i also got Daedric Smithing(it's so lame that you have to go from both sides of smithing if you wear light armor, cuz there are no dragon weapons) and i made myself a mace. Now i'm thinking if i should make another one(i'm dual) or i should use the daedric sword that Ulfric gave me(not the one with Burn enchantment), because i also have the crit damage perk for swords(my ignore armor for maces is higher though).
I think i gotta switch to Expert finally, Adept is hella easy, dragons go with 2 dual power attacks for me.
