I like it, but I haven't tried it on my TV yet

I need a wireless controller to fully test this out, would be amazing. Then I will need to build an APU with crossfire with a 6670 or w/e was the max and have the best TV evar.

I wasn't thinking an APU but a cheaper desktop, but an apu would be nice for it. Yah saw that it has decent controller support but hopefully it'll feel better than the ps3 browsing experience.

I dont understand this. Are they planning to sell console games? Or are they urging you to plug your computer into your tv and play from there?

It's not like they sell movies or music. Just PC games. So what do?

It's a client that looks nice on a big screen. Hence The Big Picture. I guess sooner or later they might sell something like a wireless streaming tool and a controller. They did patent a controller where the sticks and pads are removable around the shape of a 360 controller.

If they advertise Steam more than just a place for 'nerds' like a console then it could do grab new people basically. Too bad most people are retarded and don't know that you can use your PC on your TV.

Basically. Though some people actually use a TV as their monitor so it works out in the end for those users. It also looks nice for my 24" monitor in my room. Plug in my PS3 controller and lay down.

Maybe it's just me but I think using a controller is kind of handicapping yourself for games that are designed for PC. I can't think of a single game I play where I would prefer a controller to a mouse and keyboard. I also have an incredibly expensive and comfortable chair which is like sitting on a leather lounge anyway, so I'd prefer my chair over the living room any day of the week.

I think I'll have to pass on this one.

Except FIFA, NBA, NHL, NFL and such games. Also Resident Evil 4 if you're not using a mouse aim mod.

I've played Bastion, Portal 2, Mirrors Edge, Death Spank, Deus Ex, Bioshocks, DiRT, F1 2011, pCARS, Wings of Prey, Dungeon Siege, Street Fighter, Darksiders and the list goes on.

Sometimes a controller is just better and if I had a blutooth adapter it'd be even better. Problem is I'd rather not move my PC to a tv. However if Valve sold a device that streams my pc to the tv cheaper than out now? Sure. I wouldn't mind.
