It's fun. DS1 was a little nicer, but DS2 is far from bad. My only complaint would be that bosses seem to be significantly easier so far. I just beat the Lost Sinner and have moved on to that bandit-ridden area. There's lots of small little things that make me scratch my head a little, like only leveling at the emerald herald, the dissapearing mobs after x kills, etc. But they're small stuff and for the most part different, rather than worse... (cept the emeral herald shit, that's just annoying >_>). I'm also a big fan of the new invasion system where you can get invaded while dead. Just brings a lot more fun into the mix. I'm rolling a 2h flame longsword dude. Figured it'd be nice to try a sword for once, since I usually like to pick more fancy weapons . My specs are all over the place, but it's been completely manageable so far. The only thing that has legitimately given me trouble so far has been the Heide Knights. They seem like a weird hard counter to my character. Faster, bigger range, Beefy as heck and somehow just enough poise to not get staggered by the attacks that usually do the trick. I reckon I'll buy DS3 for christmas or something, or wait for a GOTY edition with all the DLC's combined.
