So who plays TCG, yeh i know its about the pinicle of geekness but i play both yugi and MTG its more social then anything unlike console/computer gaming you need to go out and talk to people mostly guys but stil curious who else plays and what they play.

Yugioh i run a TG-Agent Deck with a bit of chaos for good measure

MTG i only play casual i have a rakdos deck and a orzhov deck ordered a planechase pack as i play a lot of multi-player.

I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh, but I don't really have anyone to play with nowadays :/. Lately I've been thinking of taking a looking at Magic.

I never really had a specialised deck, Instead it was pretty all-round with a bunch of powerhouse monsters.
I remember my neighbour kid used to own my ass every single time with a zombie deck D:
he'd summon this ultra weak zombie monster that gave all zombies immunity and them summon a bunch of other ones that could deal direct damage or something T__T

For people who (would like to) play Yu-Gi-Oh, here's a pretty good site:
http://www.duelingnetwork.com/

It's free, and you get to use just about every card in existence.

yeh i use that site a lot when i can atleast, zombie decks are a pain but if you do get into it and go against one use light imprisoning mirror and consecrated light against it, will stop it dead until he can remove those 2 cards lol

as for magic, warning it is stupidly addicting, iv only been in it 2 weeks and prolly spent over £100 on it

I'm more afraid that I can't get into it seriously cause I'm an uber cheapskate. I'd probably make a rule for myself where I'm not allowed to buy more than 1 booster pack per month or something <_>.

I suck at spending money lol.

get an event deck or buy a starter deck + a fat pack and leave it at that for a while, i mean if you buy one of the new dragon maze fat packs and a starter deck you like such will cost around £45, with that you will have 11 boosters in total with a deck, a load of basic lands case you want to make a new deck out of your spare cards, a dice, a deck box you will have upwards of 285 cards, you can be as cheap as you want after that you will have rares/uncommons and if you are lucky 1/2 mythics you can trade for anything else you want.

or the cheap option a starter deck + 2/3 boosters and a dice will cost less then £20, though i always get a deck box and card sleeves im spending money on cards i want to protect them

I wish I got into MTG when I was younger, but I can't see myself still playing TCG out in public. I spent hundreds on yugioh cards when I was younger, definitely don't wanna go down that path again.

I play casual MTG with some friends. I started spending money on it but it gets pretty expensive so i just make decks with the cards i do have now, pretty fun.

Yeah to get any decent cards you need to buy individuals or go fatpack/booster box. That and looking into get a couple hundred commons/uncommons that they sell in packs on ebay/amazon if you just need some random cards to throw in.

Pretty hardcore on the Yu-Gi-Oh. Played in regional championships etc.

Currently running a few different decks ( Apprioperate-Exodia ) Atlantean and Dragunity decks.

i hate exodia decks, iv tried it out on the dueling network i dont find it fun to play nor fun to play against but i do find it good when i manage to beat it, i prefer decks that take real skill and quick thinking to pull off, but saying that exodia is a skilled deck

Can I assume that Exodia decks consist out of a lot of 'draw x cards from your deck' cards?

My particular exodia deck works by making your enemy draw cards

the backbone of this deck being this card :

so... It's like, make your opponent draw and get forced to throw out good cards from his hand, and same for you but you have only exodia cards (so you just dump the doubles) and magic cards in there which you either don't need or can use right away anyway?

in other words: you force a race to empty the decks, where it leads to victory for you...

btw what happens if you use a 'draw 2 cards' card and you only have 1 card left in your deck, but the last card is the final exodia piece you need. Like... What gets priority? Victory by Exodia or loss by having no cards left?

The rullings constantly change but as far as i know now. If that happens you simply lose because the drawing effect comes before exodia.
