I'm thinking of buying this game since there is no more monthly subscription. I played the open beta and it was a bit buggy... but from reading the forums... the game is pretty good.
Seems the game is getting some major content patches
Frankly the trailer has me pretty interested. I originally thought the game was going f2p instead of b2p so I was definitely going to give it a try, but since it's b2p I'll wait and see. There's also GTA5 coming in april so that's going to keep me busy for a while
But I'm interested. I'll keep my eyes open for news.

I was actually unable to find the answer in the first run, but I finally found it: "I’ve already purchased The Elder Scrolls Online on PC/Mac. Do I need to buy a new copy of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited? No. Your game will be automatically updated to the new edition. If you have a game account, either open or previously closed, simply log in, patch the client, and begin playing." Source: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app ... limitedfaq
So I'm guessing it'll be fine. $20 is rather cheap for ESO, I believe. Might actually consider it...

Just a heads up... If you've found that deal on kinguin or g2a or something like that... Heard some stuff about Ubisoft banning people that got their game codes from those sites because they were obtained through illegal means (reselling humble bundle keys and whatnot). Now I don't really see Zenimax making a move like that anytime soon, but you should keep it in mind. If you get your game from a sketchy place it might end up gone eventually. If one company did it, the rest might follow :/
Sorry if that blew your bubble... but better safe than sorry If you can't get it now, there's always a steam sale or something like that.

Not sure tbh, depending on how these content patches turn out and the amount of support Zenimax puts into the game, the game might become self-sustainable in it's b2p state. I'm getting the feeling they'd like to lose their cashcow stigma for the game and give it some longevity. I'm sure they put in a fair amount of money and effort and it didn't quite pack out the way they intended. Part of it might be that they simply don't want to tarnish the name of their best-selling franchise :/

It wasn't from Kinguin nor g2a. I found it in a local Danish shop. I'm not sure why they're selling it so cheap. It's a physical copy. Not just a code.
Anyway, for now I have borrowed a friend's account - just to test it out. Is anyone playing or considering playing again? On the Europe megaserver.
Also, what's your favorite "build" / "class"? I know ESO doesn't have as distinctive classes as other MMO's, but still, what's the build that you have made?

I thought it was b2p already, still didn't buy it lol.
but I'll admit that I have considered it a few times.
