I thought phpbb had a built in pre-set for auto deleting accounts and you could edit the settings in the admin panel? haven't used it in awhile, but I could be wrong and you still have to manually click it which would suck indeed.

So from Ryoko's post, if a member changed some details in the last couple months and didn't respond, could that account be deleted/marked inactive?

eg. Image

It could get marked inactive but i believe that only accounts with 0 posts get deleted eventually.

Inactive, 0 posts, 2 years MIA.

Speaking of which, I was tempted to just 'reactive' all those who became inactive for editing their profile/email. But really, how hard is it to respond to the email message the board sends -.-

If someone has multiple thousands un-read emails (like me maybe, +8k emails here :)), it can get lost in the mess.

Blocked on SRF? What e-mail address was that?

No, not SRF. Blocked by hotmail for some terms of service violation :?

If you didn't do anything un-ordinary, try sending a support ticket to Hotmail and ask why that email got blocked, could be a mistake and you might get that email back.

That is of course if you care about that email!

I don't. I have to give them my mobile number so they can send an activation code.

So I just made a new one.
