Why even list the actual members that agree or disagree?
Maybe SRF could do something similar to the moderation system on Slashdot.org. They have a system where you can either post in a thread, or 'moderate' it. If you 'moderate' the thread, you can't post in it. You can just +1 or -1 a person's post to add or subtract points, up to a certain amount, and add labels to it like 'insightful', 'flamebait', 'troll', 'funny', etc.
When other users browse that thread, they can see these ratings on each post and even have a 'threshold' setting so they don't even see posts below, say, 3 points. So a post might look like:
============
Post Subject: my interesting post Score: 5, Insightful Posted: 11/17/08
This is my Insightful post. People think I am Insightful!
============
A system like that would take a bit of time to develop and get working properly I think. It seems to work pretty well at Slashdot anyway. I think people that can "score" people's posts should not be able to post in that thread, otherwise they'd be bumping people's scores to push an agenda (for example get someone to say something, and bump their score, or knock someone's post down that disagrees with what the 'scorer' said.
