Guardia, I have got a question though.
Wizard and Warlock are "Caster - Skillthrees" and for this reason they become each masterylevel up 1% more DMG. Totalled Wizard nukes and Warlock Nukes are 90% Stronger then the equivalent Bard or Clericnukes. And for this Reason Bard is very week. With my lvl 90 wizard on Neptune I deal arround 14-15k with Firebolt on a Blader. With bard the DMG has to be extremly less then this - arround 8k with the booming wave. Horror Chord and weird Chord should make quite a bit less DMG. Is that true?
And because of that, bard seems to be weeker then a Glaive - In your Video you delt great DMG though. But that had to come from the buffs which were activated.
Clear me up please ;)
nice regards

Bard isn't really ment for 1 vs 1 fights. Bard is a group fighter, since you deal dmg and survive because buffs from party members. And the bard nukes are stronger with the passive which increases mag. dmg.

First of all, dont compare bard with a wiz. Wiz is the dmg dealer. Bard is a support character. Bard works well in group. Not solo. Dont compare solo dmg on any target. Compare the overall dmg of the pt. With fast nukes, it does make a huge different. With max dance (at lvl 90 it will give 38% increase in dmg), it will truly shine. Not to forget the tambours which will absorb 41% dmg at lvl 90. Bards were made to make other pt members to be owesome. I just make it better than joymax ever expected it to be. Fast nukes, that's the secrect. Dont ever underestimaded bard's tuning sound skill. It may only give 3.4k absolute dmg. But it's almost instant with 2-3 seconds cooldown only. Spam it on a fully buff ppl, add it to pt members dmg, the target will go down in seconds.

All in all, Bard wont be the one who deal the HUGE dmg. Bard will be the one who KSed the kill. Once u get to this stage, u'll be smiling when ur pt member's hate u. LOLOL.. :p

But the dances arent shiny as I exepted. Because one guy have to keep up the Tambour and can move or fight and the other person with the Dance is fixed to a point and can hardly do anything... is that true?

Two bards can both move and do whatever. I commonly have another bard cast mana or guard tambour, then I can do Dancing of Magic lvl 5 (+30% easy) and still attack, run around, whatever. I can also throw another tambour if I want.

Just need to level tripping + resistance.

Cool, thank you for that information. If I have to bards now, we could easily pown together, is that true? Tambour and Dance for example (Guard Tambour + Dancing of Wizardry) And we both can move and fight then?
Thats quite cool!

Yes. You can move and fight. The likelihood that the dance will stay up depends on how often you're attacked, similar to a guard tambour.

Last night on my lowbie bard, we got in a party with three bards and had all the dances going (well, as many as we could manage at level 40-48).

Dances of Healing, Valor, and Magic, with Hit March, Guard and Mana Tambour. Plus three bards nuking with two wizards up front - quick kills.

Downside-no cleric or tank...

It is sticky under bard's guide. I just changed my forum name from "Uehara" couple of months ago. I'll pm cin to change the title later.

if everytime a player increases wizard or warlock mastery by 1 point their attack power also increases by 1%

then players like guardia (capped bard AND wizard) (or capped bard and warlock) would have the 90% anyway... may that makes up for y his nukes are so astronomous lol

Nope, it doesnt stacked. Yes, the dmg of wiz / lock will be higher. The main advantage of bards nuke is the speed. Wiz can nuke away with 20K dmg, but if it doesnt kill the target, bard's nuke will finish them off. Ultimate KSer FTW. :p

Yeah, it should be updated now! :p I'll do my best and find some time. There's a lot to put in since it's a bit different when u reach 90.

sorry if this is already posted

well discord wave decrease your aggro if you have targeted on yourself(handy)
but
if you targeted on a another player it gives a increase of aggro.( like the guide said= botters!)

its actually usefull if you have a tanker that dont aggro mobs.

maybe it changes if im higher lvl
im now lvl 32 battlebard ^_^

Sorry if i'm wrong but from my experiences, discord wave will aggro instead of de-aggro when the mob's lvl is higher than ur discord wave lvl. And if the mob is lower than ur discord wave lvl, it reduces aggro. Tho i can't confirm it cos it dosent always seem to happen tht way.

i dont have problem with the aggro thing :S
for me its like a status effect, higher mobs have higher aggro so if you cant get rid of it all they still aggro at you so you have to use discord wave again, like using small pills on a lv90 frostbite, takes multiple uses

if you have to de-aggro try to bind it first and get your dog between it and you

nice but why do you have a lvl 32 cleric rod? doesn't that decrease the healing you could get from your RD?

I think RD works the same way as DoT's from warlock. If you put a dot on a mob and switch to wizard and use life turnover/control your DoT's which are on the mob will increase in damage too. So if you use RD with lvl 32 cleric rod you won't get much hp healing from it, till you switch to your harp, then you get a high hp healing. Correct me if I'm wrong, tho.

^Incorect, that would make mean that Healing Cycle's effect would do the same.
and that would mean that Warriors/Rogues with 1h/2h/axes/daggers/xbow would gain really low healing from Cycle / RD, which is not a case.

I'm afraid that you guys are wrong, and that it depends on what you wield at the moment you casted spell

You are wrong. I tested it. I unfortunately can't prove it though, you'll have to believe in my word. But I tested it, and recovery division is affected by the weapon you are holding. I don't know about healing cycle though. And no, at least RD does not depend on the weapon you wield when you cast the spell. :)
