ok not sure if this is really the right place to post this and I'm happy for it to be moved if needs be.
A bit of background on our guild. We are a small guild of real life friends who all started playing the game within a couple of months of each other. We have approximately 10 members all low to mid level. We're all still sort of feeling our way around and figuring out how things work.
One of our members yesterday was involved in an incident that we all found very odd.
This is what happened...
He's lvl 22, still new & asking lots of questions, so is by no means an expert on the game. He was questing on chakji's yesterday when another player started following him around. The other player then started to spam him to party. After declining and explaining that he was already in a party the other player still persisted. My guildie eventually got sick of this so went into town to unload etc then headed back out to find that this guy was still in the area. He moved away but no matter where he went the guy followed. I know this guildie personally so I know for sure that there is no way that he was being aggressive/ offensive to the other player.
Now for the odd part. He said that this all went on for ages and then suddenly he was attacked. The 'stalking' player didn't appear to attack it seems as my guildie turned around and there were about 4 other members of the other players guild there. They killed him, killed his wolf and caused him to lose a lot of experience.
I find it strange that 4 other members of a guild would just randomly attack a player without being told some story about what was going on.
My question is. How do I find out who this guilds master is? Is there any way to find this out other than randomly asking members of the same guild? My guildie can only remember the guild name and part of the original players name. He also isn't sure at what levels they were.
As you can probably understand, my guildie was left rather shaken, dissappointed and very annoyed at the whole thing. I did quiz him as to whether there was anything he could think of that may have instigated this but he said there's nothing. It appears it was random and this other player was simply being a jerk.
I'd rather find out who their guild master is and talk to them about it before the whole thing turns into a shambles. So if anyone could give me suggestions on how to go about this it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
