Hey guys i was wondering if i could get some help here euhmm...i dont have much money for a bow and i barely saved enough for a sos sword (i'm pure INT) and i have fire imbue and the 2 first sword skills and i'm 9-gapped so i'm pretty much ready to sp farm.

But everyone including this guide keeps on telling me its gonna be a lot tougher to farm without a sox bow and i really really hope that no one tells me i bought that sword for nothing :banghead:

I also got a normal lvl 16 bow.

And i have no gt or monkey.

I wanna farm about 75k, how much do u think it would take if i play like 2 hours a day?

Thanks in advance :)

No, that way you don't have to go all the way to level 20 and do cursed heart, leave it at 7.

No you don't keep at seven if you want to delevel back from 20 to 16, if you don't then go ahead and raise at your desire. As for how to delevel look for the "Cursed Hearts Quest" in guides sticky, I would give you a link but I'm bummed atm.

To macro the "control down" you need a driver that you can tell when to start/stop recording the macro. I have a logitech G15 and this is how I did it :

1. create new macro
2. Start recording
3. Press Ctrl and hold down
4. Stop recording
5. Release Ctrl

When I press the associated key, it sends just the "control pressed" command, so it is as if I'm holding down Ctrl. To finish it just press the real control key and release it.

EDIT : Thanks for the sticky lick Key-J :D

LOL thanks to JM's bot prevention, our G15 Keyboard and G5 mouse will no longer work with SRO. Well it works normally but cant use macros or any customized buttons. Just Default :(

Hello all.
I'm new to these forums and made an account mainly due to this guide.
First off, FANTASTIC guide. It's really helpful for the new characters and offers an invaluable addition to increasing ones SilkRoad knowledge.

But, alas I need help and would really appreciate it so much.

I started a new character a few days ago on the Pacific server. I am currently level 11 with 439sp(not a lot I know), a 9 level gap and no skills added.

With such an early character, would it be beneficial to add some skills to get my damage up?
I decided to be a pure intelligence spear user using armor to about level 40 or so. And flame as my main force skill.

So my question:
Would it be permissible to spend my current amount of SP now and get my skills up to level 7 so I can effectively prepare myself to level 16?

Thank you all.

I would def say bow because you don't have to run as much. But try to get yourself to 1 hit the archers, once your 1 hitting them you will go much much faster.

I dont get it you guy keep say that 9 level gap then everyones will get 250SP per kill but here is my status:

Bicheon Mastery Level 1 <-- Blade
Pacheon Mastery Level 7 <--Bow
{Anti devil bow-Missile lvl 2} + {2 Arrow combo lvl 1} skill
Fire Mastery Level 7 <--Fire
{River fire force lvl 2} skill

Im currently level 16 and fighting Bandit Archer level 12 and I didnt get 250SP but instead I get 27 EP and 139 SP, what happen to the rest 111SP? I even had full party with 4 peoples with me include, no share exp no share nothing, no Gold Ticket no monkey at all. is Bandit Archer level 12 is the right monster I should be kill or Bandit Bowman?
