HAHA, I remember those episodes. Is it the one where Carl asks Lenny to die the one where they get crushed by a helicopter when Homer insults that fortuneteller or something? :d
They're best friends, obviously. And you can pretty much tell that they're gay. The thing is, the Simpsons throws in alot of twists to that: they never outright say it, and sometimes they even make comments about girls. But if you've ever watched Simpsons, they basically are.
Has anybody seen the episode where that rich guy tries to buy a weekend with Marge for a million dollars? And Homer and Carl decide their lives suck and run away to work on the oil fields? In the end, when they're about to die, surrounded by fire, Homer looks up and sees a helicopter with his wife in it, and decides to let her rescue him and live. Carl's like, "Oh. But there's nothing up there for me. I guess I'll just die." Lenny pokes his head out and is like, "Don't be so sure!" (and gives him a very inviting look) Carl's like, "LENNY!" And climbs up the rope to safety.
