What enchants would u put on the different spellfire pieces?

I suck at enchants.

Edit: the 20 smg on gloves etc i want, shards are fkin hard to get on my serv.

+6 all stats on robe best?

btw next patch (2-3 weeks)= less xp to lvl - more xp from mobs - more xp from quests.


anyway what do u guys think of the wotlk expansion? i'm really hoping that death knight's arent gonna be overpowered and own the pvp grounds and i also hope the new profession won't make the spells OP..

Meh, got to say i'm looking forward to patch 2.3 more then the new expansion. I like the raiding im doing now, and were nowhere near finished.

The Deathknights are more likely to start underpowered, due to Blizzard being afraid of screwing up.. Then, they'll slowely get buffed over time.

+6 Stats to chest, 20 damage to gloves, Boar's speed to boots, 15 damage to bracers, buy the Sha'tar Glyph of Power (honored rep I believe from the quartermaters) for head, Aldor/Scryer Shoulder enchant from the stuff you get when turning in Fel Armaments/Arcane Tomes, 40 spell damage to weapon, pretty sure that covers em all. If you're an enchanter, you can do 12 damage to each ring.

Runed Living Ruby, Veiled Noble Topaz (these are the shit until you get hitcapped 164 for 10/48/3), Potent Noble Topaz, Glowing Nightseye.

Shards go for around 25g or so on my server, might be more if your server is low pop. Grab an enchanter friend and run some 5-mans and shard the stuff no one needs.

Thanks, thats actually a big help. got lucky on a blue gem drop yesterday, so that 1 +4 crit + 5 dmg thing.

Btw, i'm curious about arcane. Is it even viable in kara and gruul. (we can definitely easily down voidreaver to, but some people like to run into arcane balls.)

Arcane Missile spam with Mystical Skyfire Diamond (MSD) meta gem is viable (until 2.3 nerfs it), but other than that, it's best to stick with 10/48/3 until two piece T5, but after 2.3, 10/48/3 is probably going to be overall best.

Hmm, i got every other class in wow to 20+ now. most of them 30+ and i got to say, They all bore me to death.

well, only the mage doesnt. That one seems to keep me focussed, and having fun.

Just wanted to come by and say hi.
I re-activated my WoW account 2 weeks ago and playing back.
I stopped playing at level 67 because i got bored/college got me busy like 6 months ago
Got my hunter to level 70 and bought my flyer mount finally, Can't wait till the next patch, hunters getting a huge buff.
leveling Undead mage now, mages are kind of like hunters in pvp, they have to kite around which i love.
they are so fun especially forst i find it bette for questing than fire, used to die more as fire plus long casting spells burning out my mana so fast so i had to sit down and drink like after killing every mob.

The first small town you go to as a troll/orc after the starters area, Zabra'Jin orso? It's near the coast and kinda in the corner. Not hard to find.



Currently on a lvl 21 warrior, hope to be 40 by the end of the week. Wanted to try one of the other tanking classes. Being lvl 70 and epic geared and such is fin and all, but there isn't much to do after >_>

Yeah, riding skill first.

Base cost is 90 for skill, 10 for mount orso. As for decreases in price, dunno what decreases it besides rep.

More like arcane/fire is viable, and played by a couple mages of ours.

Just favor missles over fireball though, since your FB is gimped you'll actually put out less on the WWS trying to DPS with it.

More importantly than whether or not your arcane/fire, is what your spell hit rating is.

If your staring at a 15% miss average on raid level bosses, you've got a serious gimp there.

Our top mage has his miss rate down to about 1%. And it shows.

Arcane/fire is solid at around kara gear levels, but after a certain point, it's not as good as 10/48/3. Until tuesday (2.3) a heavy arcane build focusing on AM spam with the Mystical Skyfire Diamond meta gem is very nice dps. However, they're nerfing the proc on MSD (giving it a hidden 45s cooldown) so it's not longer the ridiculous dps it was after 2.2.

So it'll be back to arcane not being viable until two piece T5 for mages and deep fire the spec of choice at end game with the bonus from 4piece T6.

Spell hit rating is the most important stat to get though. 164 for frost/fire (if you have elemental precision) or 76 if you're deep arcane using exclusively arcane spells.

I might be trying a 40/18/3 build after patch, using an ABx3/Fireballx2 rotation, but I might just go to a deep fire build, chugging 50 mana pots per raid kinda sucks

I think i'll stick to 10/48/3 for a while.

Do need loads more Hit rating atm, see what i can do by moving around some gems.
