It's some good pvp practise, and learns you alot about your characters strengths and weaknesses.

STV gankfest was my favorite place to lvl yet

Ok... the private server I played on was a PvP server then. I'll have to say it was quite annoying getting oneshotted by some high lvls, but I like the idea of an PvP server.

Keeps things fun, although it does get annoying. The areas 20+ are all contested with loads of people on both factions, granted some are high levels. But a nice pvp match now and then does release tension.

all the horde on my server were in shat. there were 8 level 65-70's at nesingwary's camp... most pathetic thing i've yet to see from alliance. even more than their AV boycotting, and crying till the stack it unevenly.

lol, you do realise you probably get all the ex-FPSers on pvp servers. They cant go more than a minute without killing something. Much more civilised on pve servers, even if you run around with pvp turned on alot of people wont attack you. Ive run around stormwind for hours without the alliance giving a crap before. Did some fishing and then went afk in deeprun tram. Had some allies dancing ontop orgrimmar bank once aswell and MOST people didnt attack them. When someone did come and attack them they got flamed to hell and back by everyone else, lol.

That just ruins the concept of the game lol.

It's like not killing mobs because you are "civilised".

Edit:
I just talked to my friend who has been playing WoW since the release and guess what? He told me he started botting. >_> Apparently he is using something called Glider and he's also saying you don't get banned/caught for using it. Can anyone confirm this?

I really thought WoW was bot free. =/

O_O Bots in WoW no way!!

Btw i got to 68 yay only 2 lvls away from being capped and getting a flying mount! Too bad 75% of the quests are quite confusing or i would probably get to 70 in the next couple of days.

My friend got his level 60 Naxx raiding rogue banned for using WoW glider to farm gold.

Don't use it. Report anyone you suspect of using it in game

No way I'm going to use it. But I guess with reports from players botting gets very risky.

There are always going to be bots for every MMO, the diff with the bots in WOW and how blizzard handles them is completely different. They get a report, they investigate, they ban. So it actually is bot free for the most part.

Reminds me. Saw some bots the other day. 5 level 61 troll shamans, all in the same gear and on the same moutns running on exactly the same path through hellfire. But by the time i finished what i was killing and mounted up i had lost them :( wanted to get some screenshots. All of them had 5 letter names with "ans" on the end, lol.

Wow, how can such obvious bots reach lvl 61 without being reported? :P

Thats not botting. That's someone doing an awesome job mutltitasking.

(Yup, 5 different accounts with 1 being the main account and several macro's linked to different actions for the shamans.)

Haha, thanks for cheering me up.

Actually, I know of 2 other cases with people doing that. One with a priest and 4 mages, and one with 5 shamans IIRC.

Multiboxing is not against the Blizzard ToS.

Hell, it'd be kinda fun to have 5 pom pyro mages to blow someone up all at once.

To play AGAINST, agreed.

But the guy playing with a priest+4 mages, he just heavily AoE'd(+Priest AoE healing as well), and that was sufficient :>

I don't think 5 critical POM Pyros would even kill my warlock (14k health, 20% damage reduction with soul link, 430 resilience and 70 to all magic resists).

Most pyro crits hit me for around 3000 damage if I don't resist any of it, so thats 15,000 damage reduced by 20% means I take 3000 less (Leaving me with around 2k health).

Also theres a reason none of these multi-boxers hold #1 slots in battlegroup arena ladders.
